I would have thought that both burner cans would cover the same amount of space given that they both have the same pressure and same content .. weird how the chrome managed to cover almost twice as much space though.. Also thanks Doke for confirming the myth that a skinny cap saves paint. I never actually tried it but always assumed a skinny cap saves paint until today.. been painting for more than 6 years now and I just realized after watching your video that I've never actually tested it out. Also I know that Bombing Science doesn't ship internationally so how are you getting your cans sent to your country ?

would you please compare common hobbymarkt can vs graffity can? I know that you did the cheap can challenge, however, I would like to see the actual differences like, coverage, splash, mainly area. My main concern is: is it better to use graffity cans for hobby stuff ?
@lizzardman43672 жыл бұрын
I would always recommend using gfaffiti cans for hobby stuff cause there less expensive and the paint has an higher quality than hobbymarkt cans
@Cj93Play2 жыл бұрын
Maybe the most noticeable difference between Graff Cans and Hobby Cans like Tamiya (note I'm talking about good hobby cans) is the resin type. Hobby resins is quite more fine and its dry times are faster. But, what you are asking has been my question over months and months of investigation. What does a good paint for hobby are three things: Touch-dry times fast without pealing (Montana cans for example is horrible regarding this, Flame is better), Matt finish if you want to lack your works after painting (Belton has Satin finish, Cans or Flame are good matt) and if this last is important for you, the third thing: "Lack-able Capacity", I mean, if the paint accept be lacked or not (MTN Water based, Nitro 2G, Cans Gold, Flame Blue, and some MTN 94 colors are really well for this. Hardcore is impossible without grind before the surface, Belton will cause orange peel, Flame Orange takes a lot of time to be dry...) Note that my gold rule is to use Low pressure, acrylic and matt paints for hobby. As hobbyist and try of home-writer, I enjoy the best of both worlds and with this I want to share with you some pieces of knowledgment I get painting a lot of "walls" and Hobby Cars. (when I was younger I painted in the streets but now I prefer the calm of my house hahahahaha)
@Fressedupenner3 жыл бұрын
that's because pressure in the can because a big cap takes a lot of pressure wakes up and a thin cap takes less pressure away so that's not so much with a thick (big) cap but in the can is still color

I don't understand which cans I should pick, having in mind factors like price, pressure, size, quality.. Could you make a tutorial for beginners to pick the best cans??
@onyxig7105 жыл бұрын
Ailan Krohn if you want to do pieces, low pressure, if your into more bombing like tags, throwies and illegal graffiti you have to be fast so use high pressure cans, I recommend mtn hardcore for bombing, mtn 94 for pieces.

Ailan Krohn also a little cheaper alternative to mtn hardcore are ironlak cans, but there both around the same price, also if your doing throwies and want to carry as little stuff on you, I bring around a lego cap for outline and pink dot for fill in, and both those caps are good for tags aswell, good combo.

I only use silver and chrome because it covers more and goes a longer way. 1 chrome can will render me 2 good sized throwies. 1 black montana 400ml will give me up to 3 good outlines on throwies with a good amount of shading. All in all, my throwies are costing me about $5.00/USD lol. SILVER/CHROME IS THE WAY TO GO IF YOURE a quantity kinda man.

Pretty concerning, could be faulty cans, or user error. Doke has used countless molotow cans and has never had a problem. Maybe reconsider giving them another try, they are really great.

There was a batch of Molotow about 4 years ago that were very faulty. I had about 30 cans explode, with paint spraying everywhere. I also had about 30 cans leak slowly from the bottom resulting in a sticky brown substance forming under the can and the can losing all pressure.

buy some plastic material you can get them really cheap at any hardware store or online, set it up along your wall with some tape or if you have a garden with a fence you can tie it to that. Its cheap and it can be stored away so you don't need to worry. It is kind of like a canvas made of plastic.
