get a van vault you can keep alot of tools in there then, then less to take in the house, also if you have a wall on your drive park your side door up against the wall so not easy to get in then reverse van all the way to house so they cant open back doors either, hope this helps

Van vaults are great, however if the bastards want to get in, they will. They’ll grind the vault open, same with the van.

Rent your tools from Hilti. They send you new tools next day if they get stolen because they are all have built in trackers. Seem a couple of channels showing Hilti and the rental cost is less then you might think. (Not sponsored")

Good one mate. Will take a couple months to get over all this but that’s about it. I like the look of the evolution tools. They take erbauer batteries as well in a joint venture so all good.

If you have a wireless alarm system in your house or even if not get a separate system installed and use the door and window sensors on your van doors and put the siren outside the house and key panel in the house.. as long as you always park on your drive or close range to the house if someone opens the door the house alarm will go off. Hope that makes sense

Why the cargo area on vans isn't hooked up to a alarm in this day and age ill never know

Put a ring doorbell on your front door and a ring floodlight with a camera this then will give you high quality video footage if any one attempts to break in plus it’ll be a colourful video not black and white because the flood light makes the sensor switch to day light mode

Tbh I know how appealing ring is because of how cheap an easy it is but as it runs on WiFi it wouldn’t surprise me if people will have so kind of blocker to stop it recording and uploading CCTV is definitely the way to go as ring charge £36 a year plus a £50+ camera from what I remember and after 2/3 years you could of paid for a pay system that most people could quite easily fit
@CAR_SOLUTIONS
@CAR_SOLUTIONS 8 ай бұрын
@@adamdavis2788 Ring are cheap and cheerful upfront wise charge a monthly fee or yearly it’s good if you can’t be bothered to chase in cables… they send alerts to your phone so it’s all good I can’t think of any blockers on these devices… Or you can go for a wired up device but it’s pointless if it doesn’t alert you on your phone and just sits there recording a lot of people have wired up devices with a cheap SSD drive that’s failed and they wouldn’t even know about it until they’ve got to replay something hence a cloud system is always good 👍

Ahh brother. Peace to you. What a feeling of violation, also unsettling they know you have a van that will have kit in in the future. I take all mine out now after catching someone in my van... luckily they only got away with a planer and plunge saw but still gutted. Feel for you my man. Some proper scumbags out there that want to feed off your success but keep on rising.

Did you ever find out how they got into your van? I have messaged dewalt and tagged them in a post on one of your videos, fair play to evolution tools though! Fair play to your apprentice aswell! There are still kind people in the world mate don't give up hope.. Just don't keep your fob dear your front house door as alarm may not go off if key fob is still close to the van. I had my tools stolen as I left it unlocked once.. and now I take in all my tools every day..

Get deadlocks or slam locks on the van as well as a loud alarm that has an immobiliser 99%of vans don’t have alarms so one open the just carry on without being disturbed.

Sorry to here about what’s has happened to prevent Definitely need a van vault or similar, look at getting dead locks installed, tool insurance also might be a good idea to ether install yourself or get installed a proper cctv system around your house definitely won’t stop a break in but a proper system can definitely deter a break in

I’m Gutted for you, I know how it feels. You have to be prepared for them trying again once you have your new tools on the van. The theft is bad enough, however, the worst part is someone will buy them for very little money. Come on people, this is a young man’s livelihood we’re talking about here…. Stop buying people’s tools and report these scumbags.

You said you @ 6:35 that you always press the lock button twice to make sure it's locked, most vehicles when you press the key once it locks and arms the alarm, press it twice and it disables the alarm but keeps it locked. Van doors are easy to pop open, and the alarm won't go off if you press the key fob twice. Karma will catch up to them buddy

Been watching you for a while and seen your recent vids of what happened to your van. I see the vid of your apprentice giving you the tools (actually brought a lump to my throat). You’re a very humble bloke and didn’t deserve what they did but that’s the world we live in unfortunately. Keep positive. It will work out in the end. Like someone else said, if they want to get in they will, just try and make it as difficult as possible.
