When you went to the "Mirador de la Cruz" you were correct it is a Bay. It's called Banderas Bay, one of the largest bays in Mexico, and stretches across 80 kilometers of the Pacific Ocean.
@nicoleandmico5 ай бұрын
Amazing, thank you for confirming! It looked like a bay but the size of it had us second guessing. Now we know we weren’t wrong about how huge it was at least 😅

We are in our third year in PV (3rd Summer) and summers are brutally hot and humid. We are a couple who cooks 99% of our meals at home and we can live on $2,000. per month because we have a sweetheart deal on rent. There are two English Masses at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church downtown with the main one beng at 10AM on Sunday. For Veterans, there is an American Legion Post 12 in PV (Banderas Bay).

We don't eat much, especially when we travel, is it frowned upon to take leftovers with you? At 22:25, looked like a Summer Tanager. Where was this "running" spot?

Sure thing! Hopefully this link works (sometimes KZbin hides links) www.airbnb.com/slink/YRSwlFTq If you speak Spanish I’m sure you’d enjoy the area even more than us! If you have dogs though, just a word of caution that there are lots of neighbourhood dogs who didn’t like us coming by with Evie. We had to drive to a different area to walk her every day which was a hassle but worth it for us 😊

It's always nice that free activities can offset some eating out costs, and hopefully you were able to find a little local place to try their version of chilaquiles with hard fried chips and an egg. That is an absolutely gorgeous area you guys like to run and walk in, and comes with fantastic bird watching.

I was able to look at the area and reference it with Google Maps and it looks like the beach where it leads to is Playa Del Holi. From the beach it looks like they ran towards the mountains as I was able to see the trails and roads on the maps. You can reference El Oasis Del Holi Grill and Chicabal Sunset Club Pacific Ocean. Hope that helps.

Eeesh, the simplicity and beauty of this particular Mexican town lends itself to chillaxing. Of course adventures are plentiful but these two captured the essence of "living in PV". (This has been my 2nd home my entire life.) The point is, the affordability of living in this paradise. When I retire in 4 years, I can live very comfortably

@@ginacisneros3747 I love your plans, unfortunately people living there, don’t earn that much money a month and live with an average of $600 us, so good for you that you can made it with less than 2k,but most of people here don’t, period. 20 years ago, living there was affordable, now it’s not, a burrito used to cost 4us, now it’s $12 to $20… The place is gorgeous, with the most charming people on earth, but living cost just went so crazy, I’m actually sad for the mains tourists that can’t really enjoy the place unless you have plenty of $$$, which as you pointed, won’t be an issue for you… Hopefully you’ll give good tips to locals once you’ll get there…
