If I had a dollar for every time you said "come with me on a journey" in one of your video intros, I'd be a millionaire as well lol All jokes aside, this video had to be made, because way too many people and courses on the Internet are straight bullshit. Thanks for all that you do, especially because this video makes clear that you're helping because you want to and you feel like it, not because you're trying to make any of us empty their wallets. I had lost a ton of confidence but guys like yourself, with your practicality and authenticity have inspired me to get back to doing this stuff. I find this inspirational. It's definately not a bad thing or dirty. If you have made music products and services that people actually want to interact with and give you money for, then you made your money completely legit and actually gave something valuable to people. They exchanged value for value (they gave you money) for your music, music services, teaching etc. You had to work your a** off to provide that value so they would want to give you money for your services. It's awesome mate and crazy impressive. Money is simply one tool to achieve any number of goals and you prove this in your vid.

I totally can relate, because I make my leaving playing corporate gigs, weddings and stadiums as a bassist and pianist and I try to build my 'solo-career' as pianist on the side, so all your tipps are highly welcome. Damian, no shame in being successful brother. I find zero discomfort with this and I think other musicians should feel the same way. Just because we love what we do doesn’t mean we should ignore the fact that we are going into business. I’m a full time performing musician blessed to have touched 6 figures a year with just performing (many gigs similar to your story) while being able to come home to my family every day and not live on couches or hotel beds. And I feel proud and grateful every day. I love your story, you are a true inspiration to us all. Second thing SMART INVESTMENTS early on, you didn't let what most might seem as a failure (being dropped) stop you in fact you thrived from it. Thirdly you're still going, still building, still teaching and you genuinely look like you're enjoying yourself. Very inspiring, see you at the top my g. This is the definition of Boss sh*t. Ems

Damian I love you man ❤️thanks for talking about what seems to be so uncomfortable for everyone to talk about . Like sex. So once told me there was no money in music and bragged about his so called awards . One day I’ll laugh back on all that when music is my career 🧡🧡

Seriously FairPlay Damian. I’m always happy for people’s success. Especially when they have worked hard for it. It’s a good video. Give yourself a pat on the back mate👍

Nothing but respect for you mate. I'm with you on the wedding bands and corporate gigs, I used to live those and they were a third of my income I think. I never minded been hired to turn up, play decently, look presentable and have fun with my mates. What's not to like? Anyway thanks for telling this - I don't see what's so icky about making some £ either. I'm from West Wales myself - Pembrokeshire. Long time ago ...
