I’m not jealous of the car at all but I’m hugely jealous of the sound you constructed. WOW. This is lit. Stay cool and healthy. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!

so what about charging your sub battery after use and what about keeping up a constant 13v ? do you charge your subs battery?
@koltonwhitnall40305 жыл бұрын
Red Dawn Gaming your alternator charges the battery,he’s running 4 awg so he’s not running over 1,000 watts,the cars stock electrical can easily keep up

How do your system sound in your car?
@audiohutch5 жыл бұрын
I think subs sound way better in SUV's where there's no wall in between the subs and the trunk. All of my SUV's have sounded significantly louder than my friends cars.
@94e885 жыл бұрын
Even better, get a hatchback. Smaller airspace, more cabin gain=more output and deeper bass.
@skillcandylive5 жыл бұрын
Yup I can agree with that statement hatchback or an suv is the way go I used a yaris hatchback perfect work car too cheap on gas lol I'm only pushing about 600 watts and this system hits harder than some of my buddy's with 1200watts systems not to mention it's a shitty bassworxs box but its ported so I guess that's a bonus

Even better is an extended cab truck. That's what I have and I get insane bawse out of a well matched 300w rms amp and an equally rated single 12” sub in a custom built ported enclosure tuned to 33Hz. I also built my own custom coaxial 6x9s with a sealed enclosure that are hard mounted to the rear wall of the truck along with the sub. For the front door speakers I built once again some custom coaxial speakers but they are 6.5”. I made custom speakers rings out of 3/4” mdf to attach them to the doors that way I could aim them for better staging. The system sounds great, cost me very little compared to the performance I’m getting and it was extremely satisfying to build it with my own hands.

Random person:How many watts? Doublsmm: Yes Spectacular build btw.
@erictheboringone52925 жыл бұрын
It's not at all spectacular actually. It's pretty run of the mill and extremely boring. It's what everyone 16 year old high school girl has installed in their car here in the states.

I feel like eq with factory headunit would mess up your gains and introduce distortion or give that affect of bass role off that most factory head units give

Can you tell me if you have the Dynaudio Amp? I have it my car and I am thinking of tapping to the speaker wires of my stereo (RCD500). However I have read that for the Dynaudio the speaker outputs of the headunit is programmed down by 14db and don't know if it will work.
@Ricky874755 жыл бұрын
if that fuse is 150 amps then you're wire is going to burn up before the fuse will
@sainthelix55315 жыл бұрын
Just a suggestion, get some Velcro, just the hook side, and staple it to the bottom of the box, all around the bottom perimeter. You can then get rid of that strap, and trust me that velcro won't fail you.

if you’re running a 4 gauge wire that 150 amp inline fuse is way too much you will burn your power wire before it blows the fuse. i have an 8 gauge wire and am only running a max 60 amp fuse

What kind of subs? What are they rated at? What amp and it's ratings? You could've given a lot more actually information. Last thing, you shouldn't have paid someone to do something this simple.
