I tried Nair on my legs two days before my summer vacation and felt a bad burn a few seconds after application. Needless to say I nearly cried when the sea water made contact with my lovely chemical burns.
@meka87054 сағат бұрын
I don’t usually comment, but I want to say I love Nair. As a teenager, I got tired of getting cut(probably due to inexperience), so I started using a hair remover instead. It lasts me a week or sometimes longer before I would have to do it again. My legs look more smoother too. I’m 42 and still use Nair to this day. The tips that Dr. Dray mentioned is exactly how I’ve used it for years and it works. I do it before I shower so whatever residue I didn’t get off, will come off in the shower. And definitely moisturize afterwards.

6 rounds or chemo couldn't even stop my legs from growing hair. Most of my other hair fell out, but legs stayed fuzzy. Smh.

I lost all my hair from chemo, however, it’s now growing back with a vengeance ON MY FACE- even in my eye sockets. Sure I shouldn’t use a depilatory near my eyes. 😩
@khushboo.sharma2 сағат бұрын
Omg!! 😂 In my case, I did lose all my hair but I had done laser hair removal treatments before my diagnosis of cancer and all the hair came back after Chemo stopped. My legs are the worst. Also 100s of dollars are gone just like that🥲.

Electrolysis is exspensive but it worked so well for my facial hair and arm pits. Waxed legs for a long time and hardly have any hair there now.

I use hair removal cream since I was a teen and i'm 32. Over the years, i've realized that rinsing wasn't enough. So, I have this exfoliating mitt that I use right after with a fragrance free and gentle body wash to get rid of everything. I do it gently of course, never rough motions. For people wondering, I have very sensitive skin, not reactive but a thin sensitive skin. Those products always need tryouts to find the right time for your skin and hair type. Some of them need 10 minutes and some 6 minutes on me. Like she said, always do a test patch first and apply it quick because the first time I tried that, I burned my fingertips for having it too long. Unless, you use gloves or a cosmetic spatula.

These days i was thinking of hair removal and the options that are available apart from the razor. I was thinking about laser but for the whole body is super expensive so i set my eyes on waxing. I want to remove my body hairy because i don't want to risk for ingrown hairs especially in the rear end (coccyx) plus i want the esthetic appeal 😊. The creams are an option too but i want the hair to be removed from the root.

lol I’ve tried Nair several times in the last 60 yrs and it has never worked. Zero. Nope. 😂 I guess my hair is a steel trap 😂 I have to shave every day so I’m a fast hair growing British/Irish dna hairy lady 😂

Nair = rash for me. I just use a razor. Dr. Dray, let's talk about why some self tanners give some people (me) a horrible itchy rash. Is there a type of self tanner that is more hypoallergenic than others? I like having color on my legs in the summer but of course avoid the actual sun. Thoughts?
@db-gb5xiСағат бұрын
Dr Dray has recommended at least two self tanners without fragrance before, vita liberata invis foaming tan water; m-61 hydraboost body butter gradual tan (unscented). But even then, it could be any ingredient that you might be allergic to and Dr Dray and others have said hypoallergenic doesn't really guarantee a person won't have an allergic reaction.

Can I use nair if I did laser hair removal before? Or it will mess up the results like waxing?

I really wish what you said worked for me. It simply didn't. This way of removing hair burned my skin and gave me marks I haven't been able to get rid of for years now, and it didn't even remove the hair properly. No, I didn't leave it for too long (3 min). It was the worst experience of my life. Granted I have sensitive skin and found that out the worst way possible.

Could you talk about the ipl ulike air 10? I’ve seen your videos on ipl in office and the at home devices but this is supposedly pretty powerful for what’s allowed in a home device. (I know in office laser or electrolysis is best but not an option for everyone right now)
