A key thing Nick does with his chords that you didn't mention: He'll draw out the chord normally, then move the "middle note" (which is the "third" for people that know theory) up one octave. He does that almost EVERY time I watch him make a chord progression

Nice video bro very informative this is the first video I’ve seen on ur channel but I can tell u been doing this for a while and u know what ur talking about. I been producing for over 10 years and I’m an audio engineer I can definitely appreciate when I find a channel on KZbin or just someone IRL in general who’s actually a skilled producer or engineer because a lot of ppl think they are super stars just because they just downloaded a cracked version of FL or Ableton or something and a bunch of cracked ass VSTs and they have no idea what they are talking about. This video was a breath of fresh air in that regard. Props homie u just got urself another sub. 🙂

can you make a tutorial vocal mix, autotune, fitting vocal to the beats and tune vocal to the beats? i really need that type of tutorial. i know how to make beats but i don't know much about vocal and autotune or music theory, i wanna make songs tbh, but i need to learn about those first. i decide to start from phonk beats with vocals, because it's doesn't need a lot of lyrics and only 4 or 8 bar acapella loop.
