I live in Noida and im not even in the fancy sectors yet it rained like crazy here for few days straight for 4hr, yet just after the rained stopped it took only 10min and all the water from the streets were dry, literally dry man. while my friend who lived in Delhi said that even after 24hrs his area was still flooded even when it hardly rained there for 1 hr. I live in Greater Noida...since 2013...before that I stayed 5 yrs in noida and 5 yrs in delhi..I haven't seen waterlogging in Greater Noida even once...I don't know which places you visited??..but I daily visit areas from site 4, pari chawk, Swarn Nagri, delta, Sigma, Jaypee greens etc.. haven't seen any place where you see water after rain as well as you can't find a single road where you stand and see less than hundred trees all around.

DLF just supplied what was demanded . There are many other developers which are now doing at par with DLF . All these prominent developers are from Gurgaon which are now investing in Noida !

The most important reason why Noida couldn’t develop was uncontrolled law and order situation. People and companies will only come if law and order is taken care of by Government. The situation has improved a lot in last 7 years but who knows what will happen after 2027. Noida may well come back to its original legacy. That is why even after disasters planning ,Gurugram thrives and Noida still cannot match. This is most important reason you have not mentioned at all.

Gurgaon is complete district, whereas noida is small part of Gautam Buddh nagar. Comparison should be between GB nagar & Gurgaon. Gautambuddh nagar district has small sub cities line noida, greater noida, yamuna authority jewar airport, Dadri zone.

I’ve stayed in both Gurugram and Noida for 5 yrs each and feel 1. Ggn has greatly benefitted due to its proximity to the airport which Noida didn’t have until now but will have in near future(Jewar) 2. For Gurgaon being what it is, most of the credit goes to DLF who almost entirely, single handedly started building Ggn 25 years ago, Noida didn’t have that luxury but with big dependable names like ATS, M3M, Omaxe etc coming forward in last 10 years caught up pace 3. Gurugram is a classic urban disaster, poor drainage, law and order situation, poor public transport and exorbitantly expensive, as a result new ultra luxury projects are not getting buyers where as Noida, despite of grappling with registry issues and surplus inventory doesn’t face that challenge. Ambitious projects like Sports city, Filmcity will further strengthen Noida infrastructure in future and bring investors, more and more corporates will come as Noida can just go up from here while Ggn has a tough competition up their sleeve

Gurugram was failed by Architects. And KP Singh of DLF grabbed big chunk of Land with unplanned development without taking into the sight towards drainage. And when you don’t have proper drainage, the situation of flooding definitely can’t be undone. And now it will never. Then more companies because of nearby Airport Facilities. Now it is a gone chapter and can’t be corrected. And then Delhi also has water logging as its drainage problem is because of encroachment of water routes which should normally go to Yamuna.

One of the major flaws of Gurugram is its land acquisition policy which allows private players to acquire land directly from farmers/ owners. Proper urban planning is practically not possible in such a model. Alternatively, for Gautam Buddha Nagar its the govt. that acquires land, does the planning and develops the basic infrastructure, and then auctions off the land parcels as per planned usage. While Gurugram has an upper hand currently, Noida is set to overtake it in the long run.

While property dealers may always try to ‘hard sell’ Noida, the ‘cream’ would always stay with Gurugram & South Delhi, irrespective of the infrastructural woes. The major stigma with Noida is ‘that it’s part of UP’ and that’ll remain the case forever. The city is yet to be completely ‘occupied’ with majority parts perpetually ‘under construction’. The actual ‘load on infrastructure’ would only be visible once all the apartments complexes get occupied. Both, smarter end users & investors clearly understand this part. So all this blah blah is not getting converted into ‘actual sales’ in near or even in interim future 😂

Noida undoubtedly has amazing infrastructure but does not have high paying job opportunities... gurgaon had pathetic infrastructure infact if your remove DLF gurgaon is nothing....but gurgaon has endless job opportunities and thats the reason gurgaon has a high per capita income

नोएडा सेक्टर 15 से मेरी बाइक चोरी हो गई , वो भी ऐसी जगह से जहा निकलने वाले रोड और गाली के दोनो तरफ काम से कम 10-15 cctv कैमरा लगे हुए हैं , फिर भी मिलने की उम्मीद नही हैं ।

Aadhi Adhuri information de kar .. is Shehar ko na badnam karo please 😅.. aap to paisa kama jaaoge par Shehar badnam ho Jayega … If Gurugram was a failed city then why average property rates here are 2x Noida . Why properties sell like hot cakes here where as comparatively Noida is still suffering from defaulting builders . How Gurgaon is known for its best luxury real estate market ? Noida too suffers from Traffic Jams and pollution ! This is common in Delhi NCR which is a road based planned region. The amount of commuter traffic which Gurgaon witnessed daily from Delhi is highest between any two cities . More than 3.0 lac cars ply between then … Noida is no where near … Noida might be more greener but Gurgaon is more vibrant and safer …. Crime rates are far less than Noida and GreNo . Gurgaon is the second highest per capita direct tax paying city , second only to banglore.. it payed 40,000 crores of direct taxes (9th highest , Noida is no where near ₹, yet it struggled to get a nod on metro corridor from central government worth 28 K crore …. The professional peer group and gentry here is only second to the Bangalore ! Clearly, a day or two worth water logging that too in the specific low lying areas of the city can not be the sole criteria to deem it as a failed city …. Jo hai naam wala wahi badnam hota hai !!!
