How not to burn vinyl with your heat gun auto upholstery

One of the worst tragedies in upholstery is to burn your hard work with a heat gun. Ask me how I know? Together with this technique and no distractions, you'll be able to safely heat out those wrinkles.

Great tips. I'm going to attempt my second interior kit on a 1974 Nova this winter. Did one on a 1967 Camaro a number of years ago. Turned out well, just have to be very patient and I'll follow your tips this time around!

what heat gun would you suggest? also looking for your numbered lessons. 789 to know what glue gun to purchase as well as glue you suggest using. thank you again sir for your lessons.

Hi! I just picked up a heat gun at Lowes. For glue I only use contact adhesive. Stay away from any spray can glue the sounds like "three men" I never works.

@@tinabutters-hargrave7911 Contact adhesive from almost any hardware store. Usually yellow in color. Used for countertops and so on.

There are many beginner KZbin DIY posing as professionals using hair dryers. The real world is a heat gun. You will develop the skill. Heat guns are much faster, you will wait forever for a hair dryer to heat up something. Just sayin'.
