🧼 I keep seeing pictures on Facebook of dotting tools after they've been soaked in rubbing alcohol. I'm retiring a set of my dotting tools so that all of my tools match and I can give you the sizes I use much easier. Now, when you see a certain color you'll know exactly what size it is! So, I figured why not give this soaking a try with these old dotting tools!
I also show you how I clean my dotting tools! In all fairness I really don't ever do this. Deep in my imagination I believe that dirty tools give me some "street cred!" HA HA! But, I've never seen an artist with perfectly clean tools! But, I will totally admit it is very nice having a pretty clean set! I'll try to keep that up.... try!
I hope you guys enjoy this video as we transition between the fall holidays and winter holidays!!! Wait until you guys see what I have on Wednesday... it's a whole new type of video and I'm in love with making them.
Head over to my website to learn more about what I'm doing with dotting tools... Check out my Artist Desk! See you guys Wednesday!!!!
🎨 All of the supplies I use are on my art desk on my website. Check out the About tab here on my KZbin page for a link to my site and other ways to contact me! I read every comment too so feel free to leave one. New videos released on Wednesdays and Sundays at 5:15 am CST. Other videos released at random so ring the notification bell. Come have some coffee with me and let's make this world better one rock at a time!
💜 JaDeL Rocks Channel Is about:
Mandala tutorials, kindness rocks, dot art with all the swooshes and swipes, dotting fun, new products like Resin and Varnish, acrylic paints, glitters, and just about anything you can think of to do with rocks. I'm just scratching the surface! Stick around, put up your feet, sit back and laugh with me while we make this world a prettier place.... one rock at a time! Just Remember: It's not Perfect... It's ART!!!!

@@JaDeLRocks lol, pretty sure the skinny ones will break into bits. And tell your 6yo self to stop breaking stuff or your mom’s gonna get her!

Great video. I had the same thing happen to my tools when I let them soak too long!

Crazy eh? I noticed this morning that the white tool was also very cloudy. So strange.

I just use water and dish soap on all my dotting tools and brushes. Haven't had any problems yet.

Why would you need alcohol to clean them? I just use water to wash them off after use and they are just fine.

I think sometimes you get little splatters here and there and it adds up over time. The alcohol makes it easier to remove dried paint. You can just wipe off wet paint. 👍🏻

I am....what???? your tools don't even look dirty lol. ok, maybe just a bit. But really, I can't count the number of times I have seen ppl post that their tools broke. If they came with instructions on how to clean, would we read them? probably not lol What I really need is a tutorial on how to clean my paint brushes. do you have one?

No I don’t but you are so right! The last time I was at the hobby store I saw “brush restorer.” I was like… hmmmmmm I don’t use brushes often but it’s becoming a thing for me. I’d make a video but it would be dumb.. lol, me running water over my brush 😂😂 There’s bound to be more for sure. We need an expert Puff… I did find this cool trick 👉🏻 kzbin.infoSCyWDssQZPY?feature=share
