@@DavidBabalola-uk3qj who’s that?! This is obviously referring to famous nascar driver lead foot Larry who drove in car number 47. It was said he would wear disguises at the Olympics to avoid all the titties he would be asked to sign which would upset many husbands. One time lead foot Larry was disguised as an Olympic competitor in shooting to hide his famous stock car driver #47 look. While disguised lead foot Larry won multiple gold medals until he was busted during the bike race when he put a helmet on and everyone realized how familiar he was. Larry went on to secretly win 17 Olympic gold medals for 7 different countries.

Out of all the shooting events in the Olympics I would have to say I give it to the trap shooters as the toughest to win gold. Anyone familiar with the sport knows how difficult it is to win at the highest level. Not even mentioning the difficulty of international trap which throws the target out on an average of 22 mph (35km) faster that amateur trap. I was an expert level trap shooter who has won competitions in the past but admittedly I would get eliminated pretty easily and quickly by those who are among the best. I would also argue that shotgun sports are a discipline that is more difficult to master when coming from rifle or pistol shooting, as to the other way around just for the fact that your target is moving.

Once that was done he decided to do the pistol shooting because he beat the fuck out of the rifle shooting that he wanted to do it for fun. There's unsupported 1.5kg/3.3lbs clenched at the end of your fully extended arm and every systolic surge of your heart is pushing subtle pressure into your muscles while they require surgical precision where a submillimeter shift translates into fractional minute of angle stray the further the bullet travels. And you have to be mindful that squeezing the trigger at unsupported arms length doesn't shift your aim even a fraction of a millimeter (or compensate for it). Why the pistols have all those weird ergonomic features. I feel like biathlon is hands-down the most challenging. Your lungs are surging heart is absolutely racing with exertion from cross-country skiing from station to station and you need to shoot five 45mm/2inch targets at 50m/55yds with laser precision as fast as humanly possible and race to the next station to repeat the feat.

Why do they use airguns for pistols is what I want to know.

Probably for a number of reasons, chief among them likely being safety and wellbeing of the athletes and spectators

I was in a teen trap league years ago and quite a few of them were getting perfect scores or only dropping 1 shot every event. There are incredibly good trap shooters out there
@neerajnongmaithem392Ай бұрын
thats obvious, like why wont the olympians be best at the sport they compete at, these shooters be practising everyday for multiple hours for years
@bobbouldenАй бұрын
@@neerajnongmaithem392 yeah, but the shooters in other categories aren't literally perfect most of the time. that's the point I was making
