For people asking WHY DO THEY HAVE A BUNKER? She mentioned the 1967 Tasmania bushfires, so that is why they're precautionary and they have built their "bushfire bunker" so that they still have a place to stay but can also be around to protect and save the house, if they can.

Sadly, here in the States, a lot of "energy company's" ( especially here in the State of Kentucky) lobby to keep these type of homes and technologies that go along with these homes off the market so to speak. On the out skirts of Lexington KY, a man just discharged from military service, was trying to set up his home for off grid living. He was harassed by "County officials" and "Child Social Services"...they said his home was not up to "code", when in fact it actually was. Tried taking his children away, and tried to force him to hook up to County electric and water!!! The story was in the paper for a few weeks. I believe he had finally won the case, but at extreme costs!!
