Now this is something which I've been waiting a while to see! It's so great to see a small home with a solar system capable of charging an electric vehicle. It's not that difficult in subtropical areas. "In winter, maximum temperatures vary between 13 °C and 19 °C, while minima vary between 6 °C and 11 °C", and I suspect they also see sun for most of the winter. No real need for heating, and most importantly they don't need to store electricity to survive through the winter darkness. Just some reserve for a car charge and a rainy day (literally). Heaven on Earth, indeed.
