To be honest, it is not completely one direction's fault. Its mainly the media and the OBSESSIVE fans who pressurized them into being perfect. Some fans (including me) were fine with whatever decision they made. The media really ruined them by putting tags on them and pushing them to create the 'perfect boy band'. They were fine as they were. The media and management really really took a toll on all 5 of them.. 😔☹

People have done so many things that invade 1D's privacy. I heard that a girl literally went inside a toilet and licked a toilet seat her idol sat on. Girls dressed up as boys to go into a mens washroom for their idols. Camera's in rings given as gifts. Camera's in hotel rooms. People seriously need to learn to respect people's privacy... even mobbing them at the airport and invading their personal space. (btw the examples i gave are of other boy bands, i don't know 1D well enough yet tho the mobbing thing is common for every popular group)

My elder cousins were directioners and we would listen to their music all the time. ID really was the best thing that ever happened in the history of pop music. But sadly, they were just teenagers who didn't know what to do in life yet. They were suffering under the controls of the management, had to be the fakes they were told to be.
