There is nothing like a Winnebago for first class quality. Beautiful big tent on wheels. Don’t know what the choices were, but I would have probably gone the next size up, just for storage. This is a great setup, but storage……..is invaluable. They have the entire wilderness for a backyard. But wonder, would change their minds a go just a bit bigger??
@EFRT Жыл бұрын
Maybe a little bigger. It’s always a tossup between extra room and storage, and the ability to navigate tight spaces and small roads.

I love the idea of four walls. If you could get four walls in a off road vehicle it would be perfect. But this Winnebago is just a beautiful vehicle, I could happily exist in it with no problem! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Mom & Dad - you have amazing kids which tells me everything I need to know about the two of you. The boys act so mature and your daughter is stunningly beautiful and confident in front of a camera. Maybe you guys need to write a book on parenting!

This is one of my favorite episodes 💕 you have a backyard like no one else! It moves all the time with new scenery and adventures. This RV is SO cozy, and there is something so nice being that close to family. We camped for a very short time when my Mom bought a VW Pop Up camper. Just a van, but had a big tent that attached to it to the side.But is was so warm and secure when everyone turned in for the night! We had a great time that Summer. But my father hated it!! So we kept it another year and my high school’s friends would go to the KOA About 30 miles away, but it was safe and we reported to the owners, who reported to my parent! Such fun.

Man your family is very inspirational. This RV is probably another member of your family now. It was also nice for a change to listen to other members of the family speaking up to the camera :). They really impressed me with their oral/presentation skills. Stay safe on the road

I come back to this video from time to time. We RV full-time on and off with our children and hope to go full-time again in the near future. We prefer small spaces but there aren't as many examples of families traveling so tiny! I love your channel and observing your family. Thanks for sharing so much of your lives with us. God bless you all

I just subscribed. We have the exact same RV (2019 View 24J) for a family of 3 (mom, dad, 1 kid).... We just did a 2 month road trip around the USA in our new 24J and love every minute of it. I have to agree, the VIEW is an awesome road trip machine. ...with a family of 3 and all our stuff, it was a tight fit. I am impressed that you all manage to fit 5 people & stuff in the RV for 2.5 years. Wow. I did a bunch of upgrades to my View prior to my road trip.... 460 watts of solar, 2 new group 31 AGM batteries, SUMO springs front & rear, Hellwig HD sway bar, and new FOX shocks for the rear. All these upgrades made the road trip much more enjoyable.

That was a great tour. I always figured you just used the RV for sleeping but it's good to see how you all fit in it with all your stuff. You have so many different types of clothes and equipment for various activities, I have often wondered where you keep it all. That RV seems to have held up well considering that it's not meant for such long term use as a replacement for your home, I assume.

I'm wondering if you have ever weighed your RV to compare to the listed capabilities of the 24J? I am interested in this model but it seems that you MUST be overweight to carry that much stuff as well as a full size Wrangler. By my calculations if you load to the max GVWR that only leaves 4220lbs for the jeep which weighs over 4500lbs plus gear inside. I know these rigs can probably handle more than the specs say but I'm just wondering what your experience might be. I have None :)
