I am interested in your rig. So glad I watched. I was nervous about the diesel and the size. But you have convinced me. You are really pushing this rig to the max. Love it

Apparently your VIEW has no problem with greatly exceeding the OCCC, and tow weights. That is good to see. Says a lot about Mercedes!

Pretty sure the Jeep and gear have you well over the GCWR for the View. But it sounds like you have many miles without issue...

Nice review. Glad to hear you love this unit. We are looking at buying a 2008 diesel view with 77,000 miles on it. Looks like it has been well taken care of. So far, this unit is my favorite! We hope to hit the road the first of June, 2022 when hubby retires! He is from Hamilton, Ontario, originally and now has dual citizenship. There are so many place we want to see in the US and so much in Canada!

Thanks for sharing the RV! Everything is so organized . I remember in one video you were talking about selling it and I’m not sure if it was before this video? Did you end selling it or do you still have it? If you haven’t sold it and you’re still thinking about it I would consider buying it! It’s a beauty! I love watching the videos of the road trips and when you’re at the cabin. What a wonderful life!

Have been enjoying your videos! The rich life you are giving your family is admirable. We once did a 50 day trip in a 15' travel trailer It was enough to give me an idea of what you guys are doing, but still not nearly! Hahahaha. Hats off!

That was a really good tour of the RV. These RVs seem a lot more comfortable than they used to be. My Dad always wanted one so we used to go to look at them often. The wear on those seats is a representation of all the adventures. So if you upgrade the RV at some point, what will happen to the stickers? You'll have to travel to those places all over to collect more. Hahahah!

Did you guys ever weigh the RV to check the GVW and CGVW with the Jeep?

Hi , I just want to say thanks for sharing the video on your RV! Everything is so organized as I know it has to be . It’s really an awesome RV! I know in one video I saw you were considering selling it. I was wondering if you still have it I would consider buying it at such time you are ready to sell. Again, I enjoy your videos and also your time at the cabin. Such a wonderful family!

Nice video. Have you updated any of the suspension in your view? Shocks or sumo springs or anything like that. I find my 24J tends to rock a bit going around conners, and have heard that updating the suspension can help with that. Have you done any of those sorts of mods to your rig?
@EFRT5 жыл бұрын
Robert Orion - Hi Robert. We haven’t done any modifications to the suspension as yet but that is a great idea and something we are going to look at going forward. 🚐

Hi Guys! Love your channel! I hope you can answer a question - we've been looking at the Navion recently(2021) and were recently watching this episode from you. Why do you use the two Honda generators when you have the On-board Onan? We have the two Honda's and were going to sell them when we bought the Navion. Maybe not? Thanks for the info.

Hey guys. I came across your videos while searching for a roof rack for a tundra. I'm so glad I came across it. I enjoy what your doing with your family and wish more families would spend time together as you do. Please keep the videos coming as I am not as blessed to have these adventures. I live vicariously through them. One question though. If you started all over again would you stay with diesel or go with gas? Thanks and God Bless.
@workingcountry17765 жыл бұрын
So do you think the price difference between a Ford v10 gas and Mercedes I6 diesel is worth it for the improved fuel mileage? Most Winnebagos I've seen are Ford E450 platform that get about 7-10mpg US but cheaper upkeep and fuel and maybe more towing capacity
@macnoypii6 жыл бұрын
What kind of bike hitch is that? Great video btw.
@fordracer14155 жыл бұрын
I can’t believe you have all that weight and can still pull hills. Mine will only do 40mph up Grants pass (I 5 southern Oregon) empty What kinda fuel mileage do you get. Thanks
@EFRT5 жыл бұрын
We have the 6 cyl diesel. We are pretty slow up hills but it does fine. Mileage towing is around 17mpg.

I love your videos and you look like a lovely family. But being a Black family of 3 and one service dog how safe would it be for us. Please be brutally honest and I pray for your continue safety and also pray that you respond to my question God-bless
@kampkat60894 жыл бұрын
kmode4k We are a mixed race couple, Whiteman and Native wife. We have camped for 30 years and never had a race issue. Most campers want the same things, peace and the serenity of the outdoors. We’ve always stayed at state or provincial parks, which always feel safe. We lock all stuff up when not around but never really had an issue. If you are thinking about camping, do it. You will love it. Rent first if you want to make sure you like it, just a thought. Good luck and God bless

We are looking at down sizing, but I’m worried about weight and the Mercedes and transmission. How has weight and towing the Jeep gone for you

This MH has to be so over the weight limit. The transmission fluid must be burned black.

The Epic Family Road Trip interesting. stay hopeful. i have an autoimmune disease myself and ive had some success in reversing it. its basically the body mistaking itself for a foreign invader and creating an immune response. im of the opinion is primarily related to our diets, but hey only time will tell. cool video btw, that diesel engine is a beast for towing that jeep around.
