As a T4 lad Craig - suggest you consider E-motion wheels from Alber. Maybe a Power chair too. Keep your arms and shoulders for other things in your life ahead. Again. You won’t regret doing it, just Not doing it. Feel I would like to have a few beers with you and try to help you avoid some pitfalls of living with an SCI. ME SINCE 1982 😀

Thanks for the advice! I do use a SmartDrive or Batec when going somewhere more strenuous to help my arms/shoulders. 👍

I've been a chair user for about 3 years now and while I don't have a SCI, I do have limited use of my legs. I remember feeling disappointed at places that weren't accessible and you'll learn fast that a lot of places/things still aren't. It's great to see a British person document their journey from being released from the spinal unit instead of Americans for once too! All the best :)

Yeah we're learning that a lot already unfortunately, working out ways to adapt to inaccessibility seems to be key. Haha we noticed that it was pretty much all Americans too while we were searching for videos during rehab, glad we can change it up a bit!
