twitter is insane. as for me, i just started drawing a week after pewdiepie’s drawing video. as a person in their late 20s and working 8 hours per day. i still have 2 hours per day for learning how to draw. yes my drawing is still not good, but at least i improved in this 1 year of chaotic schedule. i also create this channel so that i can upload my animation progress(i got interested in animation when i stumble animation reference on pinterest 2 weeks ago)… everyone can improve, it doesn’t matter whether if u are poor or millionaire, and even if you are poor like me i know 100% that u still have time to spend on learning. be it 30 minutes is already enough, yes your progress will be slow, but not stagnated, u will improve regardless. also DON’T COMPARE YOUR PROGRESS WITH OTHERS, but instead compare your progress with yourself a month or 2 months before. if u feel like u not improving, that means it has something to do with your learning method. try change it from time to time until you find what suit u the most. believe me, i’ve been through try and error with my training method before. btw, who’s here that got inspired by pewdiepie and start learning to draw too?

The pressure and being harsh on yourself is so relatable, every time I try to draw I just feel hatred for what I did. 😭 Like "this doesn't look perfect enough, it looks weird", and then I just compare myself a lot. Besides that, I really love your videos, they're very helpful and also so entertaining! Please keep up the good work! 🥺

we all have "some" free time and some people choose to spend 5-10 extra mins sitting on the toilet doomscrolling or speaking on other ppl's behalf and insist "but his free time isn't the same as mine" on the internet. you just can't tell what Pews is going thru in life, and you can absolutely improve art skills and get better if you draw smth/the same thing over and over again for 5 mins if you do it everyday. it's all about what you prioritize. you don't have to spend 4 hours a day. if 5 mins of doodling is all you can squeeze in, then 5 mins it is. It's like working out, if you won't work out AT ALL saying you don't have time you won't get in shape. if you work out once for 4 hours then never again, you won't get in shape, if you can walk 20 mins a day, every day, you WILL see changes.

For me it's less of a choice. It's a feeling. I can't force it, as it's basically it's own emotion, common in a good head space but can be provoked in a bad headspace, like two sides of a coin. I just have to eliminate what harms my creative energy
@nexussercАй бұрын
in 5min how will I know how to start and what to learn to begin with?
@DuiDropАй бұрын
@@nexusserc as I said, if you want to improve your skills in smth, it's about doing a bit everyday. first day, spend 5 mins into searching how to begin illustrating/how to draw manga/anatomy/objects/buildings (whatever you are interested in) if 5 mins is not enough and you can't afford to add more time to this in your busy day, then you continue the next day, so on to the 3rd day, may be you'll stare at a blank page a few days, draw a stick figure, it's ok. you'll repeat and repeat and somewhere along the way you'll get an idea/see smth you want to draw, reference a picture you already like, just start doodling, the more you do, the better you'll get. you won't start the fırst day as a master of the arts and don't ever expect that, this is for improving a skill and having fun with it. may be fırst few doodles will be really bad, but if you continue you'll improve. and to see how much you need to improve, you have to see what you can currently do and if this is a passion you want to pursue further. if yes you can see if there's any way you can incorporate an hour or a few hours in to your day/week/life

I mean that's true but with today's society everything's expensive people are working double triple just to make ends meet No I wouldn't necessarily say people have much free time Hell there's been a whole bunch of surveys and people on the news talking about how people don't take that much time off don't have that much free time don't socialize like they used to Why because everybody's thinking about the next paycheck so that's easier said than done when PewDiePie doesn't have to worry about like is he going to be able to supply milk and Pampers and clothes for his wife and child You know what I'm saying The rest of us got to think about that got to see are we going to be able to spend our money on this or whatever and then the little free time we do get some of us are not the hell out not even going to lie and then you might watch a little bit of a TV after working hard laboring hours You really about to sit up here and take up paper and study to draw better when you got other things right now you got to think about or what little free time you do got you want to relax and wind down so no that's easier said than done and right now in today's society no I'm not going to sit here and buy that people have a lot of free time because most don't and that's the problem especially people who do want to do art

what really gets me is people are SERIOUSLY assuming pewds has an indescribable amount of free time. we have no idea what his day to day looks like and they're taking the few vlogs he and marzia posts as them knowing everything. he has a child, still works in videos to a degree, travels for family or work....there's no telling how much of his time is actually "his" unless you're standing right next to him daily to see what he does. i've watched artists over the years who had as little as 30 minutes a day, a couple times a week, improve drastically from where they were over a year. you don't need extreme amounts of time to improve, but you do need a good mindset, work ethic, and determination to keep going. he also may have a background in the art field but as he's talked about many times, it wasn't even drawing related. he's genuinely put in the work to be where he is an i'm glad the bulk of people recognize his efforts. if you have time to run the jealousy and excuse track, you can make time to go do something about it. his videos reminded me i can get better and i just need to slow down, put in the work, and have some faith in myself. i'm about to do a studying overhaul since i feel so stalled. i seriously hope he keeps going

Well he actually does he makes millions and he made a lot when he was in his early twenties to the point where he was retired Yeah actually he does have way more free time than we do generally speaking he really doesn't have to wake up early he really doesn't have to go to no morning meetings he doesn't have to really run around trying to take the children to hear that there and everywhere while also trying to get to work on time doing all of the work that's required from you to go to work then also going to try to go to the gym trying to eat a healthy lifestyle you know what I'm saying taking care of the elderly family members that you do have no trust me he got way more free time than the average person let's not try to take up and try to act like she doesn't have that time because honestly he didn't do this when he was working really hard he did this after he don't have to really work there's a difference it'll be different if he was doing this grinding while he was also trying to build his platform before he became rich and famous but no he's doing this after he be came rich and famous so yeah actually he does have way more free time than the average person

Anyways, even if he had the privilege of free time to learn how to draw from zero, I gotta say that the effect he caused in the art community is very nice. I fortunately have seen more positive reactions like "he proved me that anyone can learn anything" or "i want to have fun like him!". Say or think what you want, I rather focusing on the good side. He developed a talent and his self consciousness are helping him to understand his weaknesses, as well as being so receptive with all the video reactions offering advice to keep improving.

I don't understand what people mean when they say he got that free time, he's still a father so he can't have all the free time in the world, I'm sure he got responsibilities like most people do, sorry I mean adults and he's being a parent like others! I doubt he would only use his free time at home just to draw, he did say he drew every day for a year but he could have other things to do besides that. For example the dude is training and I've seen him do rock climbing too, perhaps he want to spend time with his wife every now and then as well, might want to be outdoors too. Dude have life besides youtube now and so his free time can't just be for his drawing challange, this is why I don't agree with the "he got free time like no other" comments. He's the same as everyone else, yeah he might be much richer but he lives a humble life therfore his free time is not anything special or much different from ours we who would have less money and work every day. Like I said he's a father now and raising a child well it is in a way a full time job in itself, especially when the child is as young as his child is.

Being rich has nothing to do with being good at art. This man started off with a sketchbook and a pencil-the traditional way. Drew daily for an entire year and practiced harder than any of these gaters ever did in their lifetime. Art is simple. You draw consistently, you get better. That's it! As an artist, passion helps and motivation helps make it easier but art is a SKILL. Drawing is a SKILL. This man worked hard and people using his money as an excuse are the same type of people who are using "artist block" or "he can afford better materials" as an excuse NOT to improve. I dont even watch him, but I give him his accolades 1,000% 👏👏👏👏

Being rich does give you an advantage, time. If you don't have to work as much then you have all the time to put WORK into something else, like drawing. Anyone can make progress the same way Pewdiepie did or with other similar methods. Like the 30 day or 1 month challenge. Draw the same thing everyday for 30 days. Then compare the first one to your last one. The downside to drawing these ways is burnout though so don't do these everyday if you get burnout easily. Do it like every other day or so or take a break in between. I've done the 30 day challenge and it's really helpful for learning specific things. 30 days doing hands. 30 days doing perspective. 30 days doing faces/busts. Ect. Helps me focus on learning something very specific I suck at. Pewds has the time and the work ethic to put into doing art more than average people. Sucks for us yes, but it just means you have to take it slower. You don't need to rush. If anything it can be good to keep it slow for some people. If you can put in a few hours a week you can improve. Afterall when I was taking art classes in highschool we literally learned things in ONE hour. It was then your job to go home and do the practices so we could apply that to the next 1 hour lesson. Boom, you made progress already. Sometimes all you need is an hour for some practice.

@whoahanantАй бұрын
@@Okaybruhh nope. When you don't have to stress about your living conditions, bills, payments, ect. It all comes back to giving you more time and more energy as long as you're caring for yourself. People who have to work a 9-5 get tired and need rest physically and mentally. That takes up your time and mental capacity for your day for multiple days a week. You get better living conditions and it really helps your ability to put that work ethic into other things. Which I pointed out, he put that WORK into other things. Art. Additionally no one bothers factoring in the actual information gathering for learning hobbies. Hours of searching and watching tutorials, teachers, gathering books (affording books if you go that route), online classes, ect. You do have to spend your time searching, reading, watching and then putting them into practice. That costs time. He can afford multiple books and has the time to absorb information from things like YT to help this flow.
