To people who seem unclear, the #88 thing was always said amongst sports fans and sometimes even sports media as a joke, as in keep Marvin Harrison's name out of your mouth, you're better off not even mentioning it for your own personal safety. It's not Kofie trying to censor, disguise, or even pass judgment on anything, it's just referencing a well established joke. Now, whether joking about someone's gun allegations bothers you or not, that's different, but it's very close to the bottom in terms of offensive things you can read on the internet. Great work as always Kofie!

I loved Madden 2005...I got so much mileage out of that game...I ran a franchise all the way to like 2013 (in year game) or played it until 2008 so four years for a sports game is pretty long. the reason that Madden was so great was bc NFL 2K was still around. this is exactly why you shouldn't allow monopolies to exist. Madden was straight booty cheeks after that and hasn't gotten even slightly better since

See _that_ is something that Truly Bothers me about NFL fans & analysts. Manning had to call those because he Could See that his OC was calling the wrong plays. Bur Kofie mentioned that the next best awareness Madden QB was Brady. He looks accurate if you read his Bald Stats. But _is_ he? Every other great QB's highlight reels are full of QBs putting the ball where Only Their Receiver can catch it, not an easy thing to do. Brady's is full of him passing to Wide-Open receivers. Much _much_ wider-open than see All Other Receivers on All Other Teams _ever_ get. That's not the QB's doing. Sorry, but despite what anyone _says_ it's not a coincidence that the Only Team that tapes all other teams' practices always knows where the holes in their zone defenses are to the extent that Their WRs get more separation than All Other Teams for the duration of that taping span. Especially when they didn't have the _fastest_ receivers. I think that this is why getting any NFL fans or analysts to discuss the importance of play-calling or ever looking at that of the Brady-led Pats. They know what they'll find.

I love Kofie. Awesome video… I would love to see thousands more of these. You could literally rabbit hole this so many ways. FIFA… Wayne Rooney.…NBA… MJ. I would love to see this Madden take on receivers, and running backs. What a great idea for a series. Thanks for the content.

We know lewis didnt kill anybody. I dont like the harrison censor either (wasnt even a suspect after two weeks of investigation), but we know what happened in the lewis case. AT WORST he killed someone in self defense (not what the court concluded so probably not even that). If we’re demonizing someone for acting in self defense you probably shouldnt wonder why youre on the short bus

Another banger. This was very informative and I feel ya Kofie about playing against the CPU a lot as a kid. Not all the time, but a decent amount. Peyton was a bully in 06-08.

My biggest takeaways are that it's cool that one game helped the player see the field the same way real QBs do to show us just how insane the skills of the real QBs are, and that we really need to be teaching 12 year olds that the hardest settings on a video game aren't the standard to which they should be holding themselves. Normalize beating normal difficulty being a respectable achievement.

An investigation into Martin Brodeur and how unstoppable he was across multiple eras of NHL games would be interesting. Scoring on him was damn near impossible and made playing against the Devils one of the most frustrating experiences in any hockey game.

Supposedly in 1994 Garry Plummer would make a run/pass call just before the offense snapped the ball, and he got to the point he was so good predicting offenses that the defense just started assuming he was right about 1/3 of the way through the season. That defense was NUTS.

It’s like you can read my mind. I randomly thought about that a couple a days ago. Grew up with Madden 08 and 09, Manning was the only player I had trouble playing against. My 15 year old self was so proud when I finally beat him by always audibleing when he changed the plays

"Now, if someone was to say that the release animations don't really matter that much, I'm not gonna argue against it." I am, that's a ridiculous thing to say. Scouts look for quick releases for a reason and even ignoring any other benefits, you avoid sacks. It's not a gamechanger by itself but it's still a clear advantage

8:11 Don't worry Kofie, I quite appreciate the I-Robot reference there haha, even if it is a touch dated. Have seen that movie a fair few times, although that reminded that I haven't watched it quite a while now, so it was a good reminder as well.

The thing I always remember about playing against Peyton was that he was constantly, every play, calling audibles. That is what always threw me off when facing him.

Hey Kofi, from 13:46 to 14:47, you state nine or so sentences, five of which start with "Now,". This is a repeat offense, the "Now," beginning. Many of these could be omitted imo. I noticed it earlier in th video, told myself to rewind and tabulate later but it kept happening. Love the content and tone of your videos!
