What drives scarcity,.which may influence rarity and desire availability, is the number of units built. That won't change either. You’re wrong on so many levels. Yes the car needs a special buyer. Porsche isn’t just going to ala carte a car for you when they don’t know you. When they sell you the car it’s sold at MSRP + options if any. Only cars sold by 3rd party dealers or resold by Porsche as a CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) can they sell it for $200,000+ MSRP. You will also be black listed from Porsche if you sell your car within a certain timeframe of ownership. So yes, Porsche will hand pick people to buy their super rare limited edition #1 demanded car in their fleet. It’s not a base 911 where anyone can buy.

My boss bought his at sticker from a US dealer. But the dealer he bought it from got the allocation from a different US dealer. He came in with no prior new Porsche purchases and bargained his way to getting it. Generally that will be decided by the dealership. Anyhow, you can get "secondhand" ones for less than the buying plan costs. If you think it's a scam, just look at an AMG 1. Less than a tenth of a second faster than the Porsche on the Nurburgring, while objectively slower on many other circuits, it's also far less reliable, and costs wayyyy more, even if the Porsche is marked up!

90k over sticker is the current standard but you can talk them down to 50-75k atm. Now with the baltimore bridge collapse, you night be right though. Last week things were diff And the guy who is saying Russia, I’ve been at the Porsche dealer in Moscow, everything is double there.

It makes sense it's an exclusive car. It's only a scam if you don't buy from a dealer that doesn't charge over sticker. Yes they exist. Once the car has a 1 owner history It's fair game on the automotive market. I've driven 2 GT3 RS's and 3 GT4 RS's and those cars are crazy to drive and we'll worth the money.

The basic car costs 240k, yeah. If you add all the fancy options you can hike up the price to 500k. However, GT3 RS is a street-certified racing car. It’s made for track, not for driving it around on Sunday afternoon. Just get a Turbo S for smaller price tag and matching performance.
