It is good to note too that Benimaru is one of the 3 known individual to date that has access to the Nihility Attributes that Rimuru stores. The other being Diablo and Zegion. I always love the moments he is arguing with his sister, well I wouldn't call that arguing since it's more a onesided rebuke from Shuna :D Like every time the topic is his love life... The best moment is probably in LN13 inside the comanding central how Shuna just say he should be a man and choose either Momiji or Albis. And how then Momiji is in that room and Albis got in as well (thanks to Milim). I loved way to much at that moment even through LN13 isn't really a nice novel at all (940.000 soldiers killed)

Basically, there are no longer any creditable threats to these characters such as Benimaru. From a different perspective, they have become OP villains of their world. Any entity that has to absorb the souls of other beings is actually a villain in classic storytelling. No matter what good they may do with their newfound might, they are using the immortal souls of others as a battery to fuel their activities. Now, all this franchise needs is the “Chosen One” story arc. A new OP hero is isekai and is trained by an elderly warrior who has suffered personal loss to these monsters. Namely, the soul of the elderly warrior’s wife is inside one of the OP monsters. Our new hero slays one of the prime characters and frees the woman’s soul but now has become an enemy of Rimuru Tempest. Ha ha! Brand new story to tell!

not really, in tensura normal peoples souls disperse anyway when the body dies, only very few individuals with exceptually strong souls can survive temporarily and or with the help of magic spells(if you know what you are doing). after the empires invasion rimuru got so good at manipulating soulenergy that he could creat psydosouls for all enemy soldier that he collected and revived them. those guys will not be able to gain skills, evolve into enlightened or saints and using magic is much harder for them now. but besides that they are fine and can live a normal life and have kids and stuff.

I have a question, when benimaru and the 3 primordial demons first evolved into a true demon lord, is benimaru stronger then them? Because rimuru did say that benimaru, zegion and diablo is his 3 strongest subordinate, but that doesn't sound right to me since Leon view the primordial yellow as a threat, then she got a name on top of that, so to me, it seems like the 3 primordial should be stronger.

Keep in mind rimuru only said benimaru was in the top 3 based on his intervuews with benimaru and zegion and diablo before he interviewed the demoness trio he was absolutely shocked what he saw there also his opinion isnt good at all if i am being honest even looking at someones stats until they fight you do not actually know. Thats why rimuru was so surprised when he found out benimaru almost lost to karion when they had their rematch and it made him realise the importance of being prudent in battle and that strategy is really important. Also he thought zegion would have trouble with karion only for zegion to one shot karion. He also thought frey would be able to win one on one but lose in a 3 to one battle against aldaman and his subordinates but frey conpletely wrecked all of them. He had no idea of their actual abilities only really their existence avlues and some abilities they possessed there are so many factors that determine a fight its kind of weird for him to say such things. Ciel for example idls very rarely specualting ont he power difference between people because its a difficult and rarely a straightforward thing.
