"embracing his anger and rage" he doesn't embrace it, it blinds him. his short temper puts him at a disadvantage, making him an easy opponent for any skilled fighter such as batman or deathstroke "willing to cross lines in the name of the mission" i don't think killing counts as crossing a line he doesn't have. batman himself crosses multiple lines in the sake of a mission, so much so that in young justice season 1, robin does this exact thing while in a simulation, and it's so mentally traumatizing that he gave up his dream of being batman

There's a massive difference between "peak physical condition" and "comic book peak physical condition". Unless your super human, many of the feats of strength that these non-powered characters perform would not be possible. There's a reason that real bodybuilders look like discount Bane's: You're not exhibiting some of these feats of strength without big muscles but since it's cooler to watch thinner characters do these things, this is what we get.

actually, red hood is one of the most overrated characters in dc. if anyone's an underrated character, it's superman. everyone thinks he's just a bland, emotionless, invincible god because of the movies that people have made of him, but if you actually read the comics, he'd definitely be a favorite. i recommend all-star superman if you're starting out, it's a great comic that returns superman to his core

You do know Death Battle used the Supergirl feats Jason had but after the fight they explained why they were not valid . Him holding up the building was due to him using venom and not brute strength . In the Death Battle also he only used venom at the very end and Winter Soldier has the infinity formula and enhanced bionic arm . So .

Damian only beat him in movie form and red robin hasn’t beat him. The only ones that beat him straight up are nightwing and Batman, red hood matched him then filled him with bullets and Damian annoys him but nightwing and Batman are the only ones that beat him one on one and even that is rarer than deathstroke defeating them as deathstroke beat both nightwing and Batman in their very first fights. Red hood has beaten Batman, deathstroke, matched nightwing, nearly killed Tim and effortlessly beat Damian he’s definitely top two out of the robins and the only reason he isn’t number one is because he doesn’t kill family

I think what Jason meant by “holding back” when talking about fighting with Batman was more like the fact that he knows what part of his armor would be lethal if he shot it, and decided not to. No matter the story, Jason still have a part of him that sees Bruce like a father, and he is still not ready to shoot Bruce to kill. So he uses his guns and gadgets in a fight, but holds back on his lethal moves so he won’t kill Bruce while fighting. But then again, he would be cheating, considering Bruce would not be using a gun. But is interesting to think that both of them do hold back during their fights in some way. Makes me love Jason’s character even more than I already do.

I love red hood and definitely think people underestimate his prowess but u really misrepresented lots of things - deathstroke had been very weakened during their fight - he held up the roof when on venom -he did not rival kryptonian strength. Actually like all bat family fighters he is faster than Bruce.Batman is always treated as the biggest and hence slowest among them.Nightwing is the fastest for sure Bruce is the strongest and most skilled though. Regardless Red Hood can quite literally avoid plenty of Batmans overrated flying hands.

@@newhybrid101 No, there's multiple examples in the comics showing Batman to be pretty fast with similar apparently superhuman feats. So really only a little slower than Nightwing, making him faster than most of the bat family, but still he’s so fast normal people move in slow motion to him.
