My Dad was a helluva welder in his time. He used to make all his mufflers for his trucks and cars... and one motorhome. He put baffles in them and packed 'em with steel wool instead of fiberglass. They really sounded good but they were just like cherry bombs after the wool rusted away.

So what is being exhausted thru it is not hazardous at all like co, co2 and solid carbons plus long list of toxic gases and fumes. Industry means pollution and their is no escape how much u try to label it with so called EPA, EHS, OSHA or UL label. These accreditation agencies are meant to make money not to control real pollution. These workers r not responsible for global warming, ozone layer destruction and pollution BUT all those industries who have achieved the QA certificate of "Enviornment Friendly" accreditation. Go back some 15yrs ago where VW was penalized for going against envr'ment pollution ans safety instead of fact that company got certification.

I have seen the exact same manufacturing method for exhausts, metal buckets and containers In Bangladesh. In fact condensed milk tinned cans used to be manufactured like this. But here is the issue; after you sprinkle rain water in these metals a couple of times, they rust like pure iron sprayed with bleach and brine.

Sorprendente, que de maquinaria vieja y descuidada, métodos de trabajo arcaicos, inseguridad al máximo, sin planeacion adecuada en los procesos y materia prima de desechos, fabriquen esta parte automotriz. I've always wondered why import exhaust systems rot out so fast, it's because of all the rust inside of it, if you didn't see it watch the video again. By the looks of it they are using the steel sides from used 55 gallon oil drums, great idea to recycle an have employees working in poor environments to keep costs down, hopefully the money saved goes to each hard working employee!
