@tombussio4979 I hold a degree in history from the University of California. My area of emphasis is 1930’s Europe and the Mythology of WW2. The post is absolutely true. The Nazis were progressives. Need proof? Look up letters from leading progressives in the US who absolutely adored Hitler, Mussolini and the Nazis before the outbreak of the war (you can find them online). FDR, Margaret Sanger, and many others in the vanguard of the progressive movement during the 20’s and 30’s spoke glowingly of the Nazis and believed America should be more like Germany. Conversely, it was the Republicans who warned against the Nazis and Communists as threats to free markets and individual rights. These are historical facts. After the war Progressives rewrote history and did everything they could to move Naziism to the political Right. They understood how bad it made them look that they once supported the Fascist movement. Easier to shift blame than it is to admit you’re wrong. However, that narrative never held water. You see, American Conservatism is marked by small government, fewer regulations, and greater individual rights and responsibilities. These are ideas that are anathema to the progressive worldview. Sorry if this all hurts your feelings. All of which I stated can be independently verified, so please feel free to do so. I doubt you will though because that might require you to think for yourself.

Like Vladimir Lenin said if he could change the mind of one generation that he would win. We got to watch it in real time during the sixties mostly at UC Berkeley. Decades later I watched as a standing president told the country that he would make “fundamental changes” and that we were no longer a Christian nation. Which sounded strangely familiar because I had read Rules for Radicals back in the early eighties. It doesn’t happen all at once but a little change here and a little change there and over time the country and the rule of law has slowly been undermined while everyone is scratching their heads wondering what (in hell) is going on.

Both Brown Governors were the economic boom of the State of California. The family has stayed middle class to upper middle class, which tells you that they were honest. It’s not that really. It’s the Trump Biden clown show that makes the republicans make California look like crap. Once Trump is out of office everything will go back🛎️. The reason why I want Trump to win. Trump will be out of the picture and Biden will not be around to get reelected. I mean, things are booming in California.
