This really resonates with me. I was TERRIFIED of presenting, I would rather die! In fact I used to not turn up to university seminars where I had to present. When I got into work though I couldn’t avoid it. I absolutely dreaded it, I would literally tremble and feel my voice shaking. The more I did it the easier and more natural it became. For the last few months I have been dreading a big presentation at work. On Monday I did it, I didn’t hide behind the podium, I mic’d up and stood in front of my audience. I had power and I loved it. I feel like I’ve come such a long way and so proud. It’s a scary journey but one worth making.

The end was perfect, referring back to the beginning of the speech. The points she had made are really valuable & meaningful though. Great speech

I agree with her. She is right about the wisdom we posses and is only meant to share. I often experience delivering wise solutions to my friends, solutions which I could never think of on my own, but they only comes out of my mind when some one else is in need. I appreciate her address, now I m more n more positive about public speaking.

Today , we were celebrating Teacher's Day. Everything was in so unplanned manner. Some students were disrespecting the students and teachers on stage and were passing comments on them. I felt so bad .So I went on stage and asked for mic. After getting mic , All I did was my feeling , that I was trying to get that program on right track . I expressed that it was not right action by seniors to discourage others and passing comment . I said these all things in very sweet manner. Now I don't know what will they think about me . But if I never spoke my feeling , it would have been big guilt for me.🙌
