Sir I cannot find your old videos of Bukom Style and Turtle style boxing...have you deleted them? If not when you have a moment, could you please link to them? No one else is able to cover this stuff. I lost my fight on Friday night, I really need to train my high guard game a little better...

Sayf Carmen makes good points and they are good to think about. Ryan Garcia's style and what he did will always be a problem for Haney given the way Haney fights and also some of the habits he has, like dipping in the same direction and pace when he jabs. But that doesn't mean Garcia's a world beater that will blow through the divisions. Salido beat Lomachenko, obviously staring in a play known as the NUTCRACKER. But that aside, he did win. But Salido won that but didn't go on to be a world beater. It was that style and the blows. Someone might be the better fighter on the night or that style might always give a given boxer fits but this does not indicate that the winner as as elite, more elite CAREER WIDE than the person he beat. And I think that's an important point to keep in mind.

Great observations about the State of Boxing!I agree with your assessment of Garcia and I think that he might be trying to bite off more that he can chew ,while moving to fight at a higher weight!I think that at Welterweight he should fight someone average as his first fight!A fight with Ennis would be suicidal if taken immediately!As they're not many fighters in that division that's willing to challenge him!(Ennis)because of his skillset!

I was one of the folks who thought Ryan would lose and was too mentally unstable leading into the fight. And I will not take away from what he did in the fight. But, Devin Haney made terrible mistakes that gave Garcia that fight. And I agree on why he wants to fight Tank, now. All you have to do is look at his physique in the Tank fight vs the Haney fight.

@FrederichGautreau: I am NOT taking anything away from him either. I am only saying in this video what relates to his mouth and his fans. HE said he did not care about 3 pounds! OK! give up those SAME 3 pounds to Boots! Easy. Next, HE said he wanted to move to 154! OOOOOK! Virgil Ortiz will take that right now! I did not say he should fight TC! Now that would be sour grapes for his win. NO! I am saying: "OK, Ryan, I got ya. These guys should be no problem for you then big guy". I was VERY FAIR to the "king". LOL. Real boxing critics know it is a great win, but overrated compared to what he claims and his fans claim he will and can do- sober or drunk.

Garcia has been checked by Tank, Luke Campbell & arguably Haney a person who doesn't have much knockout power. Him rematching Haney at the same weight, whether he wins doesn't tell much knowing that Haney is currently the weakest champion/elite fighter. Just seeing how Haney did Garcia & Derrick James retiring I don't see Garcia who just has a left hand stand against Boots, Gary Antoine, Tank rematch, Cruz, Matias & let alone Shakur, Crawford & a healthy Spence. Life is a mystery, so who knows how Haney will deal with this loss. Haney can bounch back, but he needs to go through a deep training camp. Power wise he'll get stronger since he young, but skill wise I think he was distracted with all the thoughts going through his mind. Garcia hasn't proven himself yet amongst the big dawgs

Every betting man should keep an eye on Garcia. Just an opinion :)
@TheUmmahFightCamp2 ай бұрын
@camildumitrescu3703: Every betting man should remember that even when he had Devin out on his feet, he moved around to avoid mixing it up. Smart betting men critique the mentality of fighters also. Only fans think only of the physical action. Ryan does not have the heart to do nearly what he says he wants to do and I will keep this comment up to prove I said it.

Coach, you mentioned watching bare knuckle boxing. You are an expert in this subject. Are they doing BKB wrong in your opinion? Backbin the John L. Sullivan days they held back lower guard and focused on body shots because the skull hurts the hands. These days they do mostly head shots and treat it like regular gloved boxing without gloves. What are your thoughts on this? And which knuckles should you use bareknuckle? Should it be the index and middle as in karate or what Jack Dempsey recommended using the last three? I respect your expertise in this matter.

You have a good point. Great observation! I am in the process of starting a membership on my channel. I will have BK from the foundation. But BK is evolving and it will take some time.

Ryan Garcia has not changed his approach to applying the Craft since his match with Tank Davis, and in that match Tank showed us how to stop the taller/longer boxer. Rehydration to a higher weight classification is a very big edge to have over an opponent who is coming in with the prescribed weight for that class. With Errol Spence Jr. and Devin Haney it caught up with them....js

Ryan is part Him and part Hype. He came out of amateurs with all kinds of skill but has not improved as much as he could. He has a ton of natural ability but does he have the dedication? He made so much money now I believe that will tell him he can continue short camps and not train properly. You can get away with stuff at 25 that catches up by time you 28. It gets harder to get in shape to do 12. IF Ryan focuses and really get serious his upside is high.
