Best concert I ever went to in Houston on 1:22 1:23 the Night Moves tour. He wnt from guitar to piano .

And another track from Bob Seger describes my youth. Night Moves. I spent my teenage years working out my night moves. Eventually I worked it out. "Working on mysteries without any clues." OMG, how did he know? The track is most beautiful when dies away and goes quiet for a moment, then comes back. I remember, I remember, I remember, I remember . Nobody writes music with such beauty, melody, insight and soul these days. I pity modern kids listening to elevator music who have never heard of Bob Seger.

@mayflowerlash11 My thoughts exactly. Night Moves is my all time favorite song. I’m just shy of 63 now, but every time I hear that song, I’m a 17 year old kid again, driving down the skinny little country roads during harvest in Central Illinois, in love with a girl who didn’t know I existed… The best of times. ❤ Thank you, @behindthesongpodcast Janda! You’re the best. I always learn something.

And one more thing. C'est La Vie. That is a celebration of PURE JOY. Have a nice day.

Lifelong fan of Bob Seger since I was about 8 or 9 when my much older brother allowed me to play his Night Moves album on repeat. Bought that album and all his others after that and was a massive fan. I really commend your writing prowess Janda. It's always spot on, and written with the high end clarity and insightfulness of some of the top writings I've seen in music magazines. You don't just give a summary, but you provide actual insight and clarity when you summarize in a way that surprises even a fan like me, having listened so some of these songs thousands of times. Great work!

Agreed, Janda has a wonderful voice and delivery, and these deep dives into the songs are fascinating. The episode about Steve Miller Band's "The Joker" was one of the most interesting recent episodes.

This is the music that accompanied me when I first left my home in my youth. Even then I understood what he was saying. And the piano accompaniment with that beautiful tune. This moves me deeply. Thanks Janda.
