Another great clip from the original video. I’m 63 and just getting into resistance training and the information and encouragement is very much appreciated. Thank you

My gym has lots of people in their 60s and 70s, both men and women. At 67, I'm nowhere near the oldest person there.

I just discovered your channel and I’m already hooked. Excellent interview. I’m a 66 year old female that I’m very much into fitness for over 30 years. Unfortunately I have osteoporosis. I don’t know why that happened because I’ve been into lifting weights and running since early twenties. I used to compete in bodybuilding (novice) my guess is the extremely strict diet and low calories when getting ready to compete. That’s just my guess.

@1:47 OP can also come from longterm use of drugs incl PPIs, steroids/prednisone, opioids and even some antidepressants to a degree. In theory chronic stress and cortisol release could mimic prednisone and also be a factor in bone quality and health - not just bone mineral level.

I am 28 and I have been doing resistance training for last year and a half. I feel like a brick. 🧱 Gonna keep on doing this. Moderate intensity with a high level of consistency.
