Liberal MPs, and the rest of us, are trawling through the entrails of last week's coup in Canberra and considering the factors that contributed to the change.
Malcolm Turnbull and his supporters are pointing to a right-wing insurgency within the party that they say was openly incited by sections of the media who made it their mission to see him gone. They point to News Corp and broadcasters such as 2GB's Alan Jones and Ray Hadley.
Alan Jones for one, makes no apologies. He let Geoff Thompson be a fly on the way in his studio.
