How RHD Builds a Djembe Drum

This is a documentation of what I do, my passion and drive. I recorded the steps of this custom djembe build that started with rough lumber from the sawyer, all the way up to final djembe. The drumming in the background was recorded with this same djembe.
The drum featured here is a RHD Vegan series with custom options. The head is synthetic and the walnut wood body was made in our shop here in Charlotte, NC out of locally sawed wood.
