An HTK SPECIAL!! How did those rice noodles you eat in pad thai end up on your store shelves? And what kinds of noodles are there in Thailand anyway? In this episode we will answer these questions about rice noodles and more.
First, I take you to Thailand's noodle capital, Baan Pong in the province of Ratchaburi, to give you some Thai noodles 101, then we look at how a typical bowl of Thai noodles are made, and finally we visit a noodle factory to see how they make the ever popular pad thai noodles! It was an incredible learning experience for me, I hope you enjoy it!
A special thanks to the Thai Trade Centre Vancouver for sponsoring this video!

Wow, this is amazing. I was captivated from moment one. Funny coincidence, I'm doing the same thing you did in the Noodle Corner. I'm currently here in Khon Kaen province learning how to cook authentic Thai food through local vendors (they're so nice to teach me). Your videos are also my savior to understand more clearly and my Thai friends eat my food. They are shocked to see a falang making the authentic taste of Thai food. They stopped buying food outside and come to me hahahaha

I loved this! We live in a rural area without any Asian markets nearby, so I looked up how to make rice noodles at home thinking it would be cheaper like most other stuff that I usually have to order. Oh hahaha no, it's beyond my skill set! So I gladly pay the little bit extra to get rice noodles made by fine people like this who do it right.
