The rich stay rich by spending like the poor and the poor stay poor by spending like the rich. Great video! This is very true. 💙

So the rich spend like poor people who spend like the rich? What
@ArmandoTheThird4 жыл бұрын
78Vertigo This simply means that we should not spend beyond our means. If we want to buy something, we have to make sure that we can buy it without breaking the bank. Meanwhile, there are people who would break the bank just so they can buy what they want to look like rich.

All my life I've been taught that credit cards are bad. Thank you for educating me for what it really is and how it's just a tool for convenience. I really like the part when you said that the rich use credit cards for things they can only afford, not to make something more affordable. Now, I can say I can spend and use my credit card with confidence. Thank you so much for this video!

Good content. However, tip #3 doesn't sit well with me. Why use a threat, when one can use logical reasoning to waive the annual fee? I keep track of my annual spend and use this as leverage for the waiver. Good enough spending and prompt payments will merit a waiver. And this has worked for me.

To be honest, Rich people don't bother rewards because they can afford it, some rich actually dont know that you might spend more than getting reward points but the real reason why they dont bother getting rewards because they can afford it simple as that..
@JohnBrekke3 жыл бұрын
That’s not at all true. The “rich” are usually even more aware of various rewards they can get than others. Only difference is that they may not care about the rewards at H&M or the book store, but rather of airlines, hotels, credit card companies, casinos etc.

Have to disagree with Poster that the rich never pay interest. Yes they usually do payoff their CREDIT CARDS every month, however, they do pay interest on mortgages, car loans, business loans, etc. The big difference between the rich and not rich is the rich are interest-rate sensitive, the not rich as monthly payment/minimum payment sensitive. A rich person will ask the banker "what interest rate can you give to me?". If he doesn't like that interest rate because it is too high for his liking (example a 10% APR vs. 15.99% APR on credit card), then he will walk away and go to the next banker, until he finds the banker that gives the interest rate he deserves. The not rich are worried how to fit another bill into their monthly budget, like a car loan, and are also concerned that they might be turned down for a loan because of their existing debt-to-income ratio. Rich use leverage when it benefits them.

Rich people don't have credit cards because they have money. A debit card is just as convenient as a credit card and also has the same fraud protection. A debit card does everything a credit card will do except put you in debt. Debt is money cancer. Credit cards are the cigarettes of the financial world. People get rich by working, living on less than they make, saving and investing over time.
