I am so tired of people making these videos on celebs that they just regurgitated from another KZbin. Second, Ron Isley and his brother have never left the top despite his incarceration for tax evasion. He never faltered the few years he was locked up and the music never wavered. It's funny reading the comments about the taxes. People are forgetting, it's hard enough keeping up with their hectic schedules and lifestyle, which is how alot of artists get/got into trouble. They have managers for a reason, but the problem lies in who the artist trust to handle their affairs. It can't be your best friend or uncles & aunties from around the way, and it can't be some sheisty shitster who's out to rob you because he thinks you're uneducated. At the end of day, the artists will do time, so it's his/her responsibility to make sure even the checkers are being checked. Oprah has several financial teams in place, and checks and balances are done across the board.😊

Ron Isley: The Tribal Chief of R&B But Charlie Wilson's gotta be the Wise Man. Luther's the right hand man. "But what about Smokey?" He's one of the founders. No doubt. From Stevie, to Patrice, to Minnie, to Diana, to Prince, to Bootsy, Patty Austin, Bernard Wright, they've all have a part in building this culture that would find itself reincarnating in the 90's from G-Funk to the influences on R&B artists who would follow. But heavy was the head that has worn the crown that was tailored for Ron Isley. If he passes on before I do, I will remember not to say "Goodnight."
