My favorite era of the isleys was Spend the night/between the sheets/voyage to atlantis era. Born in 74 that's what got me into them. Back in 94 i was buying some vinyl at a used record store & i started seeing twist & shout & all the other older albums & i was shocked to learn them dudes had been around for a minute. They have managers for a reason, but the problem lies in who the artist trust to handle their affairs.
