As a former Police Officer (now comfortably retired), I can vouch for the fact that the USA politicians' 'get tough on crime' policies have absolutely no effect on the crime rate, none whatsoever. The crime rates are always extra low in rich neighborhoods (where everyone is employed) & the crime rates are always sky high in the poor neighborhoods. Crime is always high & life is always dangerous in the neighborhoods where there are no jobs to go around, where you can even find some places where half of the population are unemployed. That is what causes crime. Locking these people up in prison forever will do nothing to bring down the crime rate, in fact it will do the opposite, it will make them even bigger criminals from the prison experience. The one & only thing that is proven to & will definitely bring down the crime rate is for the government to create jobs, for the government to do all it can to make sure that everyone has a job. Jobs will support the dignity of people, to the point where they will not need to commit any crimes, because committing crimes will definitely diminish their dignity, and whether you want to admit it or not, everyone has a sense of dignity. The Chinese government is very good at doing that, helping their citizens keep their dignity by creating jobs & keeping everyone employed. The American government, not so good at doing that. And one more thing, that so called "war on drugs" thing that we do here in America, it is just the biggest bullshit. But then the Chinese government, and the Chinese people, who have experienced the "Opium Wars" & have historically suffered from the Western world's hypocrisy & deceit know exactly what I'm talking about.

Thanks for sharing that point of view. My take is that even if there are jobs, many Americans don't want to work. And even if there are higher pay jobs, they don't want to get higher education and get trained. Many of them are so used to complain, entitlements and government subsidies, not to mention the most destructive and feeder of all these, the greedy LABOR UNIONS all across the United States! Look at TSMC in Arizona! Even there are tons of jobs provided for them, all we are hearing from these lazy Americans are complaining, whining, lawsuits, stupid regulations and protests?! Nanjing is the place where Japanese and Americans massacred over 300,000 Chinese civilians in 1930s. Here in Houston TX, road cyclists are becoming the latest victims of getting beaten and robbed by thugs during daylight! One cyclist was beaten with a gun to his head, butt of the gun broke the bike helmet and cracked his skull, and ended up in I.C.U. at a hospital! A female was beaten and raped at a cycling park by young thugs during daylight also! Many people carry pepper spray bottles while strolling at a local park and are always on the lookout for thugs prowling and ready to pounce on you for your property or life. Cars are broken into regularly and so are the houses. Texas has a castle doctrine law where if someone breaks into your own home then it's justified to shoot to kill. We are lucky in that sense we can defend our lives without getting into possible trouble with the law to save our own life and family inside our own home. At night time, you hear police sirens regularly. Strange I don't see or hear in your videos. Fortunately, I live in a nicer part outside of Houston but yesterday a son murdered his mother by stabbing her with a knife only a few blocks away, and many get away with a heinous crime by “mental illness” bullsh1t!

The organized shopping crimes should be stopped. They got the upper hands because they outnumbered the police. People want to protect their neighborhoods should stand up, block the roads with whatever they can, like cars, until the police come to round them up. This will work if everyone can sacrifice half a day or their personal properties whenever such crimes take place. This is for cause of neighhood safety.

There are drvg dealers, homeless, addicts, and many of them carry guns. SO much cryme where I work at. Gunshots every now and then, and I still go home late at night past 1am. Hate my job, but this is what "living in America" means. There are becoming lesser of us Asians and it kind of scares me. I always felt safe in predominantly Asian areas. Generally, our kind tend to commit less cryme and focus more on education and work.

@@tiktoksignal LOL, that's the nicest thing I heard in my life😆Thanks, but despite all the negativity we Asians receive, I do love this country. Not the people, but the culture. The holidays, the weather, the natural scenery, the history. Unfortunately, no other country in the world can mimic it. If not for "leftist" ideology, America alone is a very beautiful and rich country. And by "rich", I'm not referring to wealth.

Im a Chinese living in the UK and the content of the video is very real. In fact, China's nightlife activities are very rich, and it is not only limited to bars or nightclubs, there are more places to hang out, and in first-tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, these cities are also brightly lit at night(I saw ur video on bilibili, thank you for showing real world, hope people around the world unite and stop being brainwashed😢
I live in a safe part of Canada and still feel the need to walk around lightly armed at night to avoid harassment when I need to go home late. Never get to listen to music in public either because I'm scared of what I might miss with my headphones on

In NYC, the street blocks may not have homeless but every corner they sure do have piss stains and the horrible rancid, STENCH!!!! Next video you have to point out the times and emphasize that there are so many WOMEN on the streets! This is the epitome of what SAFETY is.... 💜💜💜 your videos!!!!!

Welcome to my hometown, I'm glad you enjoy your stay. It's a little pity you didn't have many local foods such as Dandan Noodle(担担面, Zhong Dumping(钟水饺)or Egg Pancake(蛋烘糕). Those are my favorite, and you can have these in a restaurant called 龙抄手(Longchaoshou, Dragon Wonton). Also I noticed that you went to that ship called Wanlihao, the answer to your question is that it is actually a building built to resemble a ship. It has passed its peak and mainly serves as a out-of-fashion landmark.
@strikerleecy126 Жыл бұрын
However, if you went further northwest from that ship, you will encounter a compound which looks like a temple from outside its gate. It is my high school and the school has been that specific location for more than 2160 years. It is the first school raised by the government in China (and probably in the world lol). It is also one of the best high schools in Chengdu

I've been to Zhuhai China (the Chinese Riviera) several times and have never felt safer, even when out and about early mornings (2am - 3am), Western societies often have mis-beliefs from movies. Yes, there are surveillance cameras everywhere but the Chinese people I've met (and I can not speak Chinese) were super friendly and helpful.

I think one of the reasons homeless people are less often seen is that China doesn't have property taxes. So after when you buy an apartment or house, it is yours. No annual taxes, only taxes on the purchase and sale of the property.

It seems most western english speaking countries are in decline. I live in Australia and can confirm this (originally from the UK). Problem is loss of morals. We have gone ino a state of moral decay the likes of which I thought id never witness. Sometimes i feel like im living in the twilight zone! Westerners like to point finger at places like China or Russia when in fact its inside our own backyards we should be looking. Our so called "politicians" are a failure, the school systems are a failure, crime is rampant, roads are filled with potholes, money is thrown at corrupt countries, drug use is everywhere, gangs roam our streets, walls are covered in graffiti, police and courts are soft on crime and governments care more about giving puberty blockers to young children than any of the above issues!

Chinese people like to watch Thai horror films and also learn the voice of Thai people. But now many fake Chinese accounts are spreading hate speech in ASEAN. But these are really not Chinese people, because most Chinese people only live in their own small circles, similar to Japan, and are not very good at communicating with the outside world.
