I have a question, my daughter is eligible for tuition remission based on her mother’s faculty employment at a D1 school. It seems irrelevant to send our daughter to another school for a partial scholarship when she can have all cost covered. Would that be mentioned to the head coach during recruitment. That all she is looking for is a roster spot no need for scholarship money? Does that make my daughter an interesting option for the coach

Yes, it’s worth mentioning because it’s no cost to the program and that matters

@@RecruitingWithAlex Thank you, for the feedback I really appreciate it. Would it be something that you would throw in the subject line of an email? If so how would you title it? Or call the coach directly during contact period?

Damn.. only 11 scholarships is wild for a 40man roster. I did not know that.

Hey Alex, looking to meet with our first college coach next week, any recommendations to ask during this initial meeting?

Hey Steven! Questions you all can consider asking: What is the day in the life like as a player during the spring, winter, and fall? What do you look for in a (position your son plays) How often do you guys train strength and conditioning? Do players play summer ball? If so, do you help with placement? What are the most popular majors for athletes on your team? Does your team have an academic advisor and/or tutoring available to athletes? What is the housing situation for athletes?
