Okay, so I have a huge confession. I went on a few dates with a girl named Katie in 2022. I watch a lot of KZbin and told her about Chicken Shop Date and Hot Ones. For my birthday, Kate made me a chicken shop date box. FELT AND EVERYTHING! I still have it. It has two chicken drumsticks in it made from dog toys. When I was given it, I always felt like I should make a tweet or a TikTok about it but I've never wanted it to be a viral thing on the internet. But this feels like the perfect time to tell the world. Big ups Katie! Big ups Amelia. Big ups Naomi. 🐔🍗

I love how Amelia goes over her stories. You can tell how passionate she is about her work/journey/art. Most of all, you can tell how passionate she is about not gatekeeping anything. She’s really the type to outdo herself and help others along the way instead of focusing on what others are doing/letting outside noise affect her. I love how she was self aware enough to find the right work life balance (for herself), to prioritize her creation vs what would get her easy money (not that there’s anything wrong with that), etc. She’s so true to herself. That realness and authenticity very clearly comes out in the work that she puts out. You can’t help but be a fan of her work ethic &/or content (even beyond ChxShop). Just love her 🐔🍗❤️

I think the thing Bobbi Althoff doesn't manage to do as well as Amelia is the fact that she's endlessly charming & her awkwardness in the interview doesn't feel like she's pretending to be superior or above the people she's "dating" but rather just her personality. You never feel like Amelia isn't on some level interested in who she's talking to, which is nice. Bobbi takes it too far LOL
