Not a 1000...Gsxr-1100 (1052cc). I brought one brand new in 1986. A monster to launch with no stretch or bars.

Here in Fairbanks Alaska they race Artic Cat snow machines with slicks on summer asphalt 1/4 mile. Last time I saw them was on the Army post runway. An Artic Cat 780 w nitous runs 10:60 and two stock 580's run 12:24 n 12:19 the gal beats her boyfriend :)

1st Gen GSX-R 1100! Where are people finding theses old scoots? I haven't seen one of those in years. Hell I haven't seen a 90s era GSX-R in a very long time. He asked an interesting question. He asked if she's had issues as a woman rider. Maybe back in the 60s or maybe even the 90s....But in modern drag racing??

Good luck Mia. Stay safe. The old Suzuki GSXR 1100 or the Widowmaker as she was known as. They had a horrible tendency to crash on lowish speed corners due to the front wheel tucking in, causing many deaths 😭.
