@MelodicTurtleMetal Жыл бұрын
@@PCG2022 Definitely an experience. I love the blackbird too - riding a blackbird was the only reason i even tried a 14 - felt so powerful and smooth. I've been lucky enough to try quite a few bikes, but the 14's have been my favourite. All the power to keep up with all but the best liter bike riders (guy i mentioned before thrashed absolutely everyone at the track), but better comfort and far more forgiving throttle. My boss has a Z-H2 which he's got tuned to 240+hp, and i still outrun him simply because my front wheel stays down better 😂 At this point the only other bike I'd consider is the new huyabusa, simply because of the updated electronics, cruise control and such. I've ridden a couple gen 1 and 2 busas though, and they feel much much heavier on the corners (much like the blackbird), and lack that torque burst you get on the 14s after 7000rpm. Nothing else compares for my personal needs. I rode a gen 1 once only - couldn't say it felt much different, definitely not slower, with maybe a little less torque in low revs

@@MelodicTurtleMetal Great story man. I wanted the ZX10R but after watching a video on KZbin Zx10r, zzr14 and the H2, like you say not much dif and I imagine the 10R and the H2 would be hard to keep the front end down, I have Mrs so the 14 just made more sense for me and would only swap for the Gen2 but saying that I'm happy with my 2010 limited edition in black and silver. I only passed my test in 2021 so this is kinda my first bike too (on the road). Come from a MX background ( 2 stroke ofc) 😉 I have a night ride on my channel but bit dark when I first got it. 🤪

Ok let me help y’all clear things up because clearly 90% of the commenters are people that DO NOT ride. Yes, these bikes come RESTRICTED. But, UNRESTRICTED is still STOCK. It’s simply, removing a top speed limiter. That’s all. Allows the motor to perform at its full potential for all power to the throttle. The bike itself, is still stock. Hope this helps.
@adithya.manoj_2 жыл бұрын
Ninja H2R doesn't have limiter. It's actually highly tuned Ninja H2 and costs a bomb which is was tooooo expensive
@Pace007132 жыл бұрын
If its locked and you have it unlocked you usually have to go to a tuner so it's not stock you're in essence changing what the manufacturer has put in place and on that lines a gen 1 hyabusa will actually do over 200mph so this video is still incorrect

@@Pace00713 even tho, i have a 2006 CBR600RR, the difference in fastest bikes is so small, that thinking, i own the fastest bike, does not matter, if you cant legally ride that speed. Mine goes up to 299 kmh, but will i ever ride it that fast ? NO, i chose it because hondas are cheaper to maintain, with a lot more durable engines than their competitors, and i like the look of it. There is no other reason, because i will not even go up to 200 kmh, because i dont have balls of steel to go that fast, but i like how it looks and i like the price of parts for it.

@@Александар.П tbh, any gsxr 600, cbr 600, zx6r and r6 goes 299, if the engine is not damaged, and the 299 is limiter on them. :D

Love the analog gauges on the hayabusa and Kawasaki. Some of these mono LCD gauges look like antiques from the 1990s. At least that color Ducati screen looks like a decent iPhone app !

I also prefer analog gauges. It could be an addition digital one but not really a must have. Btw: my Bandit 600 is like a Simson compering to those monsters!

In my opinion, hayabusa, h2 and h2r are not superbikes. As you said, these are hypersupersportwatheverbikes. Extremely fast, but not superbikes. Just opinion. I bought a 2009 Fireblade (CBR 1000 RR) for 9000.- with „only“ 170 something hps.... still faster than 99,9% of all cars on the planet and relatively comfortable and „normal“ to ride. If you wish, just turn on the right hand and the beast is awake! 👌🏻

I'm guessing that the majority of the owners of these bikes put themselves and other motorists at extreme risk while riding at two or three times the legal speed limit on public roads. I can't imagine climbing on one of those and never hitting triple digits. All it takes is a raccoon, a piece of scrap metal or a bit of oil on the asphalt to change or end a life in a split second at 70mph much less 200. Many bikers are killed every year from these kinds of incidents. Even riding at legal speeds has risk, highly dependent on the traffic density, road quality, presence of animals or debris, and other dangers. Back in '82 I laid down my new GPZ750 on a banked curve (marked 35) at about 50mph because the county road commission had put an excessive amount of brine solution on the gravel shoulder to control dust. I had taken that same curve over 20 times without an issue. Shortly after I picked myself up and saw that my bike found a tree to clobber, a car went through the same curve and rolled in the ditch. A local attorney who saw me go down stopped and provided the sheriff with an eyewitness testimony, which was that, in his opinion, I was excessively exceeding the posted speed limit. My attorney discovered this when he was gathering evidence for a lawsuit against the county for negligence, and as a result, I didn't have a winnable case. Since that happened, I have been much more cautious and defensive while riding, and have had no accidents or close calls with numerous bikes and thousands of miles. If these bikes are to be pushed, it better be on a closed course with emergency personnel at the ready. My ZRX1200R has tempted me since 2002 to wick the throttle open and play boy racer on some wide open stretches, but I've only had her up to 120 a couple of times (within a few seconds and not wide open), which was enough for me. Be awake and aware of all your surroundings, be ultra defensive (assume every car at an intersection can pull out in front of you), and spend lots of time with your bike before hitting big speeds. Practicing application of front and rear brakes in emergency stops might save your life. Have fun and be safe.
