And I think her degree most certainly contibuted to her success: 1) she learned how to think critically, plan strategically, problem solve, research and become disciplined and consistent to reach benchmarks and goals; and 2) her hospitality degree no doubt qualified her for the positions at the hotels where she gained her work experience. I've been seriously considering doing the event space thing over the last year or so. This is by far the most transparent video I've seen regarding this industry. I love this sister's transparency, and her giving the good, bad, and everything in between. I also loved that she has a strong background in events via the hotel/hospitality business. My biggest takeaway from this vid, is to really know and thoroughly understand your particular business, and what you're getting yourself into.

This is by far the best interview of opening an event space. This has been something I've wanted to do for the last 3 years or so and am working diligently towards starting that process in 2024. I appreciate both of you for 1: asking the important, often overlooked questions and 2: giving honest answers that show your growth as an event venue owner.
