Should Christians Care about the Environment? Sure. It's God's creation, and it's our home while we inhabit these mortal bodies. The more difficult question to answer is: What does it mean to "care about the environment"?

I don’t know of a single person on any side of the isle that doesn’t care about the environment. I have worked for oil companies and didn’t meet a single person who didn’t care deeply for the environment. The question is, what does it mean to care about the environment? If what you mean is higher taxes and a strict regulatory environment verging on centralized control over private companies - we already have that. Go work for an oil company and find out. It’s leading to inflated energy costs which impacts food costs… which is not loving our neighbors.

I can’t speak for China, Arabian nations or Russia but the US absolutely is and has been since the 1980s. would you rather listen to party politics than work for any energy company and find out yourself? This will save you the time: Every square inch of energy companies are already regulated by the leftists at the EPA, OSHA, FERC, NERC and a whole host of other agency acronyms. This in spite of the fact these companies are already leading the way in carbon efficiencies for coal and oil which are natural resources. 2. carbon leads to the healthy proliferation of trees and other flora. It’s literally the air they breathe as, in addition to photosynthesis, they produce oxygen. Have you stopped to ask what the effect of CO2 is in the life cycle? The fear of climate alarmists who are honest is excess carbon will create a greenhouse effect and that will destabilize the climate that will ultimately lead to another ice age. The presupposition is the climate is fragile and capable of mass-manipulation based on power grid, cars,HVAC. All they have are models and none of these are factual. Simply hypotheses build on hypotheticals.

Of course he cares about the environment. He’s the one that created it but he doesn’t care about it in the way that the world does that’s what he should’ve said any Christian can tell you that you don’t need a pastor to tell you that especially a crooked one.
