What about refinancing with a credit union. To pay less each month ? Also what about Ford and Chevy ? Also I want to invest in a truck that is reliable enough to last me from now until 10 years from now on my homestead that I want to build. I don’t want to buy a truck that already has miles when I know I’m going to rack on the miles and put it to work. For someone who isn’t going be doing that and just an everyday driver then I can see they shouldn’t do that h it for someone who has a clear goal and plans on going on camping trips and hauling vehicles such as a bobcat, and mini excavator I think investing in a new truck is a better idea. Or am I wrong.

If your just coming into the military I recommend buying a decent sturdy bike while on base, save up then buy a USED Jeep Wrangler. Jeeps last a very long time and also looks really cool with customizations but don’t get to addicted to ordering new parts for your Jeep.

Diesels especially hold there value and can easily get over 1 million miles if you do basic maintenance.

@@fobbyP did you watch the video? My recommendation is always used. Getting a loan on a new car is essentially agreeing to pay more than the vehicle is worth to buy it. Your interest continues to climb, but your car continues to depreciate in value rapidly.

I think if you own cash flowing assets to make your payment, go for it. If not, buy an affordable car, invest the money in real estate or index funds, and then buy a nicer car later on with the cash flow!

First, watch this video (and read the coinciding article). Second, personally I would buy a more affordable vehicle that wont tempt you to upgrade it. Something that will hold its value, get great mileage, and last forever. Then invest the rest of that money to help you build wealth quickly!
