Sadly the game is STILL delisted for me on Steam, they even delisted Ghost of Tsushima few days before release. Many regions around the world will no longer get any new Sony releases since we don't have PSN. There's fear that Sony will soon also delist their older games from Steam in our regions like TLOU, GoW 2018 and 2 Horizon games.

From a development standpoint having an account sign in does actually make sense. You have to connect to servers via both Steam and PlayStation accounts and this does actually make moderation and account stuff harder as you have to have systems in place for both accounts to work. But it is stupid that PS was trying to force this and still is somewhat with the country’s that it is no longer purchasable in. Eventually they will likely need to make some sort of account system for helldivers 2 so everything can be managed under one system but I’m unsure how they will do it sense clearly PSN accounts are off the table for the fans.
