Hey tomato anus. I'm not someone anyone knows, but I've been here since your head cripple video was recommended to me the day it came out because I was really into the fall out speedrunning community at the time. I've watched you over the years develop an identity for yourself in your content and when you first started the mental health check up I would skip past them because I was young, and not ready to face my life. Today as I'm watching another one of your videos on release, I have been spending so much time on improving myself that your little message really got to me and I can't stop crying. When you said to celebrate small mental health wins it broke me in a good way. I've been doing such small steps and I've been moving so slowly through my life I don't hear it's okay to take things slow, and it feels genuine, all the time. Thank you friend, I really needed someone to tell me everything was okay

If speedrunning is possible in your game, not always a bad thing. If it's too easily accessible, and people stumble upon ways casually to break your game, that could be fixed, but, if it takes people literal years to find bugs, exploits and cheese, coupled with craptons of datamining to figure out how the map's triggers work, that adds a lot of longevity that a more linear game would otherwise be missing.

yo tomatoanus, thank you for always being a good person. everytime i watch one of your videos im reminded that there is good days to look forward to, even if they arent entire days theres at least some good moments. ive spent the last 13 years of my life in chronic, unstoppable pain. no surgery, medication or drug has helped, and ive tried them all sadly. due to my abuse at a young age among other things i also have civilian ptsd. just waking up, being conscious, is an uphill battle. sometimes i will sleep for over 20 hours because of a mix of no will power and the side effects of my medications. my pain makes it hard for me to move around my house and do anything physically exerting, because of this taking showers requires someone to help me. my mom usually is the one to help but shes been having hip issues for about a year now. you said that any accomplishment is to be celebrated, i took my first shower in almost a year the other day. anyone else having issues please speak with your family and friends, get help. i was stuck in bed for days because just taking a shower is too much for me by myself but luckily i have people that can normally help me.

25:08 - Thanks man, I needed that. I've suffered greatly with anxiety, depression, other things and ADHD (which I recently only discovered I had) for years. It lead to severe drug use. I stopped and have a home gym now, started being healthier & working now, so I'm healthier than I used to be, but it's still a struggle. I'm 25 now, still live with my parents and feel like such a loser for it. I've tried with jobs in the past but I always get fired from them due to my mental state (one time my boss thought I was an alcoholic when I was just having panic attacks, so he fired me.) It's got worse & more difficult over the years and I like to think I'll be at least somewhere in a couple of years but idk. It's just like a prison living in my mind, even waking up is a battle. The fact I won't get given the meds I need doesn't help either, so I'm basically on no medication when I really need to be. I could go on forever but you get the idea. I wish I had a normal mind like most people do. The things I could do, the act of simply being able to do things like a normal person is something I want more than any amount of money. I would literally kill for my mental health back. I just hope it doesn't kill me. Mental health really isn't taken seriously enough.

Just got the notification, and I want to take the time while I'm driving to say: congrats on another great video, speedrun explanation by you, don't even need to watch the video to know it's a banger. Keep up the great work and just remember that you matter. I was not wrong, and muchi is not a human.

During the Las Vegas shooting Stephen Paddock supposedly expent 3000+ rounds of ammunition over the course of ten minutes from 27 AR-15's with bumpstocks despite the facts that it would have required him to drop a gun after each 30 round magazine was empty, even though videos from survivors show that it was a nonstop stream of ammunition with a firing rate much higher than a bumpstock is capable of producing from multiple locations that appear to be M240 LMG's. More interesting is the fact that after the FBI took over the investigation, his house somehow burned down with all of the evidence, and photos of the hotel room he shot from only show 50 spent shells. Years later we still have no motivation, and there was strangely no follow up on the biggest mass shooting in US history. Most confusing is that the day after his brother had numerous press interviews where he claimed it made no sense, he was arrested for possessing several hundred terabytes of child porn on a 20 year old computer running Windows 95, at least according to the photos taken by the FBI.

Here I am at work plowing snow, feeling like shit because I've had almost no sleep in the last couple days. Thinking about how hard it is to keep trying to find something better in life beyond shit work that eats away at my mental health. I pop on this video and start listening while I work because DS content is a comfort thing for me. I was starting to feel pretty chill listening to the commentary, and my night suddenly didnt seem so bad. Then 25:05 hits.... I had to stop working for a few minutes because I was bawling my eyes out. Thank you. Thank you so so much. I wish more people understood just how simple and powerful those words are. There are people in everyone's lives that could really hear those words from someone close to them ❤

Notable thing you didn't mention about taking the gear off at the start, not only does it give you ultra rolls, but less equip rate means your stamina comes back faster.

Plenty of highly detailed segments. Personally would have appreciated visuals to accompany said detail. But replaying some segments to understand made an overall worthwhile watch. The segment on mental health was a surprising positive. I see, understand, and appreciate all the effort put into making such highly detailed commentary. Thank you, skeleton!
