Our local Tex-Mex shop had 2 super Burritos on sale for $7 dollars usd. No rice. Beef and bean,tomato,shredded lettuce, olives,sour cream and shredded cheese. Yummo I haven’t weighed one, but I bet it’s close to 500 grams.

Hey, u should do a home cook of the exact burrito and give a cost break down. I make homemade burritos and put them in the deep fryer. I use cotton twine to keep them from opening up as they fry.

Okay, this might be a bit harsh; As a native Californian.....their first mistake was putting lettuce in a burrito. Ya just don't do it because it just becomes soggy and loses it's crunchy, fresh texture. Tacos? Lettuce is fine. I have a little bit of experience with Mexican food, I make it all the time at home, and I'm a complete snob when it come to Mexican food. That's why I never go to Taco Bell. To back it up, California has almost a quarter of all the Mexican restaurants in the United States.....and I've been to plenty of them. The harshness comes when I really don't think Aussies have any clue of how to make Mexican food. The founder of Zambrero isn't even Mexican. By the same token, I would probably screw up making a proper meat pie or bangers and mash (using the wrong sausages) or Yorkshire pudding. But if you think this is good or decent Mexican food, you're sadly mistaken. You might as well just go to Taco Bell.
