Iron Man played no role in the origin of Spiderman, he was NOT A mentor figure to Peter in his original origin (unless you count the Ultimate Peter Parker version). And Peter does NOT have a knock off Iron Man Suit. And everything I stated is just the tip of a iceberg that I really don't dive into.

That's definitely not true because back in the days Iron Man was and always will be a D- superhero. the spider sense was in there its still developing , if you watch a couple of the fight sets you see him dodge and his level of awareness uses it . And the previews for infinity war you see it more with his danger sense at a point to where his hair is standing up on end before catastrophe happens .

Spider-Man is my favorite character of ALL TIME, so I might be bias when I say that Homecoming was great. In general, it's good at best. Peter started out as a high schooler in the comic so it made sense for him to be in high school as an INTRODUCTION to him in the MCU.

For me The Amazing Spider-Man was good, but nothing special. Especially since it wasn't tied into the MCU. This new Spider-Man was also good but had something special in that it was a reboot where they've skipped over the stuff we already know with Uncle Ben, and since it was a bit more lighthearted compared to the others it felt fresh. I do with they had some kind of Uncle Ben flashback though with the power and responsibility speech just so that we had a baseline for his morality, although I guess Tony's supposed to fill that role and since it is lighthearted, it would've been pretty heavy. I like this latest version of Spider-Man, it has room for improvement and some high school moments could've been ironed out, but it's fun, and fresh, and tied into the MCU which is cool.

Personally, as an older fan of Star Wars, I view TFA as a sort of promise from Disney, saying "we're going back to square one, back to what made older fans love Star Wars in the first place, with a similar story to introduce new fans". That's why to me it was an updated retelling of ANH, and I felt it was the right choice to make, and it worked.

No it wasn't. It was overrated. It was too safe on the stakes at hand and we don't know anything about this Peter Parker to actually care about him. I liked the casting of Tom Holland with the role but the writing of this as a generic high school movie made it underwhelming. It relied too much on jokes and threw away any emotional depth for Peter and Aunt May (who's been relegated to hot aunt jokes).

In all honesty the movie itself was entertaining, however it didn't diverge from the typical mcu formula with its constant levity and quips as well as being a generic 'coming of age' story. It lacked individuality and uniqueness as if they were trying to make it obvious that it was an mcu film.

Not your average Bear I also felt that the villain being better than most of marvel villains, was still ok due to the story. I enjoyed the other spidey villains because of the connection they had with peter. I felt if they revealed he was Liz father before homecoming like if Liz invited him over for dinner then the later action and him trying to balance his life with what he knows would have been more interesting. Rather than it be shoved in the final last 30-45 minutes of the film.

Yeah the movie was ok but nothing special. My gripes were that I felt as if Vulture was more intimidating in the car scene than the final battle. Flash felt like a complete miscast to me. Also, this MJ just felt like some negative edgy bitch to me. She literally had no substance within the story other than throwing one-liners at Peter. And I cringed hard when people were hitting on Aunt May. The comedy was a hit or miss with me.

The SupremePro123 yeah in my opinion it is because when I see flaws and cons in that movie and people call it A+ then that's overrated to me.
