How Splatoon Players See Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3 has been out for a little over a month now, and people are have begun to cement their impressions and thoughts on the game. A large group of Splatoon 3 players previously played Splatoon 2 and there exists a lot of comparisons between Splatoon 3 and Splatoon 2. So I wanted to make a satirical video showing what its like for a Splatoon 2 player to first experience Splatoon 3 and how they might react to the game’s features, both returning and new. From the usual Splatoon 3 turf wars to the Salmon Run horde mode to the Tableturf Battle Dojo, Splatoon 3 has addicting games at every turn. As soon as I saw the “connection error” screen come up, I knew it was the Splatoon game we all know and love- ✋🗿 Splat 3 is really fun- love the new specials and salmon run has some really nice improvements as well.

It's only been a month and I've already hit 100 hours in this game. Most of my time has gone into salmon run above everything else as I find it too fun to pass up. I'm still working on my level and rank though of course. 😅 Awesome video Alpha! 🐯

I bothered learning Squid Roll and it feels super natural. It’s like SM64 side-flips but you also get free invisibility frames, I’ve practically forgot sub-strafing

About the sheldon licenses, I think the strat most people did was to buy both the new weapons and then their main from the last game just as insurance if the new weapons were bad... I sure did that myself

I like the new Mahi Mahi and Hammerhead Bridge, its just not Mahi Mahi or Hammerhead Bridge.... My opinion is the game is good, now if they can redo the communication errors fix and things because now my game closes to error often in Salmon Run lobbies and the communication errors are somehow worse than the patch previous to the last one.

Honestly, Splatoon 3 has been pretty good these past weeks, the specials aren’t that over powered, the idols (shiver marry me /j) are amazing! And grizzco run has improved overall! As long as something stupid at Nintendo doesn’t happen, we should be- *communication error has occurred*

I just wish Flyfish lids were fixed. Flyfish are more inconsistent to deal with and Salmon Run seems a bit more buggy. Also the purely fixed drop rate of scales no matter if you beat Cohozuna or not sucks.

this is an idea for minigames. idk the name yet. there will be a leader and you have to defend the leader. 1. the one who starts with the letters A-J will be the leaders. 2. the leader must choose a long range weapon and cannot move in their spot. 3. there will be defenders but use short range weapons with beakons. 4. this will take place on clam blitz. 5. they use the beakons to hide and secretly kill the leader. 6. the leader get 3 lives. 7. with 2 minutes left, the leaders are allowed to move and score on clam blitz. 8. they get the first 30 seconds to find their positions and place their beakons. 9. they can also place beakons during battle. 10. cannot destroy beakons. 11. they will try to kill the enemies leader. 12. the leader who dies the most loses. 13. you get extra 5 points if u win clam blitz. tell me jf you need more information.

My reaction with Splatoon 3 was: "dang how did I live with Splatoon 2?! I mean even Splatoon 1 had better specials (imo) than Splatoon 2, and a better story mode. Splatoon 2 is the weakest of the bunch and I didn't notice that until Splatoon 3 released"

I played Splatoon 1 but got bored with it's repetitive gameplay and the map rotation is just terrible, forcing players to play on the same 2 maps for hours instead of just letting us play on all of them. I skipped Splatoon 2 and tried the 3rd one and again, got bored of it, same gameplay as the 1st, map rotation terrible. The ranked experience is so one sided, it's hilariously bad. Not for me.

I’ve been playing splatoon 2 because the matches are easier and there are still no lifers coming in and ruining the fun for all us casual players that aren’t literal pigs that are addicted to video games. My win loss ratio in splatoon 3 is screwed up and it’s getting ruined in 2 as well. These competitive gamers need to get a life my god.
