Curry is the ideal superstar for multiple reasons -You can count on him whenever you need him , we saw that last year in the playoffs with KD out how he won the last 2 games against the rockets and then swept the blazers -But despite his greatness he will always be ready to accommodate another superstar , he literally took a backseat in HIS team after arguably the greatest offensive season ever and becoming the first unanimous MVP . There aren't any other superstars who can do that (only one I can think of is D Wade ) -The guy literally has no ego and is a BORN winner and whenever people criticize the warriors for having so much talent they don't realise that the reason its never been done before is cause there weren't any superstars at the same level of greatness as KD and Curry that were able to coexist and the major credit for that goes to Curry
@legendarycollection71844 жыл бұрын
Honestly, i always said that on everyone hating on curry. The reason they win with all those superstar because have no ego even mention at least KD warrior are the superstar with no ego, on first 2 year with warrior KD already know he cannot change the who are the real main man on gsw but every member gsw give him all he want being first priority thats why they win 2 chip and if not get injury KD and klay totally 3 peat IMO. But steph are the most superstar with no ego and klay are the same way as steph for being star. Next year will be joy to watch, back to the core baby.
@yoda1123584 жыл бұрын
It's also because he's so effective off-ball that it enables him to mesh well with other superstars. Steph can give up primary-ballhandler possessions with much less loss of total contribution to winning than any other superstar player.

@@legendarycollection7184 yeah props to KD too but I just mentioned Curry cause the video was about him and also Curry once even said that KD was the best player on the warriors and while KD obviously their first option and considering it was actually Currys team when he got there and that they had won without him makes it that much more selfless

@Leland Joseph I literally gave an example of last years post season cause with KD out he beat the rockets in the last 2 games and then went on to sweep the blazers in the WCF averaging 36 pts then he took the raptors to 6 games without KD , an injured Cousins and a not fully healthy Klay . In game 3 with both KD and Klay out he scored 47 pts and almost took the raptors to 7 games all by himself

That season was absolutely surreal, I never thought I was going to be genuinly surprised when a ball player missed a three pointer from 35 feet away. It's a matter of system though, when Curry is doubled, he can pass the ball and he knows that with some movement the Warriors will find him for an open shot, whereas Portland is more centered around Dame doing all the work and not playing off-ball

I had an argument with someone about this a couple months ago. It's actually quite simple, to me: some players have really high-scoring seasons, some have really efficient seasons. This guy had both. Without being the uber-athletic, Russell Westbrook-type player. I think it's the greatest offensive season ever as well.
@i_sharky4 жыл бұрын
When people bad mouth Curry, this is the season that they can’t argue. He was the most impactful player and most dominant player on the court. He shot ELITE from three while pulling up from 35’ and in, oh and if you played up, he would get by you and finish at a ELITE level at the rim. He wasn’t great defensively but his impact on the offensive side was so historic that the team won 73 games. I never seen anyone shut out teams in three quarters like he did and idk if I’ll see it again...
