Yabusele’s game is so naturally complimentary to Wemby’s that I don’t understand why the spurs wouldn’t give him a shot

Hate to break it to Verno, the key plays feature isn't new. I first saw it on Amazon for TNF.
@ryanearley87482 ай бұрын
Yeah they had it at the last summer games. It’s a great feature though, they should advertise it.

Yup. It's not surprising he wouldn't know since basketball is still mostly shown on cable but the streamers have been doing this for the EPL/soccer for years

Ant had like the 2nd best shooting percentage in the Olympics on the team. He wasn’t that up and down. Just had a shorter leash after a couple sloppy turnovers each of the last 2 games.

It bears mentioning that Anthony Parker didn't just "play in Israel" he was the best player on what was for that time the best team in the Euroleague.

Growth as leadership is needed from some of those guys IMHO. I don't see it in any of their personalities right now. who will lead all of them like a Lebron/Steph/KD? I cannot see who will be willing to do role players things either. I've seen guys like Mitchell and JJJ play for USA and was not impressed at all. I would be very excited to see what Williamson, Flagg and Holmgren can do though.

Who's next after Steph, LBJ and KD retire? Ant...and who else? Tatum who was benched the entire tournament? In LA team USA will be competitive, mostly because they will play at home, but I am not sure they will even be the favourites, France is much younger and extremely talented, and will have Wemby at his peak in four years (and God knows how high that pick can be, maybe the highest ever), I think France will be favourite for the gold in LA...

How did you guys not mention Brunson lmao he’s better than Ja
@Gw198382 ай бұрын
He’s really not😂. Just in less trouble. Ja was on his way to being the face of the league and plays in a small market like Memphis. Not to mention, he’s had a better career than Brunson to this point. Just as good of a scorer at their best (and avg 6 not career points), better rebounder, better passer. Neither has had great team success. Brunson’s was with Dallas as a number 2 and he now plays in the worse conference.

I'd say it's close enough that there's a debate to be had but I'd still take Ja, who is also 3 years younger. I saw Brunson among the leaders of the USA team that lost to Germany and Canada.
