PERFECT!!! As soon as I played story mode I thought basically the exact same thing. I said for the longest that Guile, Chun, or Charlie should have defeated Bison. Ryu had no business being the one to defeat Bison. He didn’t have the history/grudge with Bison the way that those characters had. Ryu’s main villain is Akuma. Always has been.

I didn't expect anybody to come out strong in the story other than Ryu. But for some reason Karin and Rashid are waaaaaay more relevant than Chun, Guile or Nash. They didn't even tie Bison wanting Ryu's power from the Alpha series into the story at all, Ryu just shows up because Karin called his cell or something. And Necalli got done super wrong, probably worse than Guile or Nash. The story should've actually ended with Guile/Nash hitting Bison with a double sonic boom ala the double hadoken from the anime.

The Ryu vs Necalli fight should have been the last fight of the story mode, after Nash, Guile and Chun-Li beat Bison. Makes it a better Story mode and still making Ryu the main character without taking anything off others.

The way I see it, there should be 4 confrontations Nash, Guile, Chun Vs Bison Rashid Vs Nash Ryu Vs Necalli (With Ken And Dhalsim acting as supporting characters for Ryu) Cammy (plus others like Karin, Gief, Birdie, Laura) Vs Decapre and the other dolls.

That's a massive improvement. I can't believe it was as poorly handled as it was, many characters were redundant and I really could have done without characters like Ibuki or Laura. The biggest insult is just how Charlie was handled, instead of being one of the strongest persuers of justice, he was made into a bland redemption arc character that has to learn the power of teamwork and all that shit. While I don't mind the Alpha 2 ending being his canon death, I feel the Alpha 3 ending adds a lot more to his character and if his personality didn't change so drastically, we could have had real interactions during his conflict with Guile. Maybe Charlie would say something like, "I'm sorry, but I need that piece." or "I don't want to fight you Guile." Because he 100% remembers who Guile is, the scene where Kolin gives him the picture. He reacts to it! And he does fucking nothing in that fight to show that he's holding back against Guile. Sorry for this huge ass rant, I just love Charlie's character and it's so frustrating seeing one of the best SF character just get the shaft hard.

The one I feel most bitter with was guile. I've never seen him being this much of a side character. In the finale where he, ryu and chun li make the final assault, remove him and nothing changes. And I totally agree with you in all points.

The story just wasn't to good I felt either Chun-Li, Guile or Charlie killed Bison but no Ryu the Superman of Street Fighter and why Bison spirit is a thing going around terrorizing Shadaloo victims like Ed and Falke? Bison should be history. Necalli was the biggest piece of shit in the game he supposed to be a ancient warrior who devours very strong beings and he's basically weak he got stomp by Ryu, Dhalsim and Bison and tried absorbing Rashid and Charlie and Charlie who is beyond weak in this game literally every character was a miss there were few good things that came out of the characters there's so many things about the story I can write a book what should of happened.

It may not be obvious but SF is an Animé unlike MK which is a western style story telling (comic book) Scenes without explanations are the way of the Animé. In the official animated movie, Ryu and Ken's powers stopped Bison, SFIV hints that Ryu will be the one to finish Bison, etc. Again just like Animé 😂 see Naruto's tailed beast being suppressed by the 1st Hokage's powers - it may have taken the entire series to explain (or not explain) how but what's important is that it can.

Nobody in the SFV roster can beat Black Moons Bison, except for Akuma and Urien. Dhalsim isn't stronger than Ryu, he fought V-Trigger Necalli to a draw, someone Base Ryu washed (he only lost in the beginning because he wasn't focused).

That would be good alterations I also think they made FANG really persistent yes its fine throughout the story but they should have in the end made Rashid kill him off for good thus exacting his revenge for his friend since a good bit of the plot revolved around Rashid trying to find his friend and that way Chun Li wouldn’t have to stand back and fight FANG during the final fight with M Bison. I overall just don’t like Necalli I think we should’ve just got Akuma for both Ryu and Ken’s part of the story I feel Ken had no business to fight M Bison either in a way like Charlie, Guile and Chun Li did unless he just chooses to do so for the greater good and even then his beef should still be with Akuma for an attempt on his master’s life and protecting his best friend Ryu from Akuma’s attempts at making Ryu succumb to the Satsui No Hado. Also Balrog vs Ibuki and R Mika wtf? The story in the end is good for what it was for me there were compelling moments and all its better there was a story than no story at all though there were obvious improvements that could have been done.

I’m not if sure FANG didn't like Ed cause I know he hated Balrog but Ed departs his allegiance with Balrog I dunno. Well if being the case at least make him presumely dead after the fight with Rashid I felt that would have been better closure for Rashid if it seemed to him that he got his vendetta as he comes off as one of the main 3 protagonists as oppose to making FANG persistent even after this it would also give Chun Li rematch with M Bison instead of fighting FANG where she along side with Guile and Charlie take M Bison on final match I think that would have been a better story.

It's possible F.A.N.G might have an apprentice name Phantom according to the Toxicity Side Readers story that would be great to have her as a canon character cause she most likely be serious cause F.A.N.G is a joke character and a jobber who's use to put over characters and the story of Phantom is serious maybe she be DLC new character but in actuality F.A.N.G fate is unknown but the story with him and Phantom picks up right after A Shadow Falls ended.

However, something like Super SFV with all DLC chars from Season 1 to 4 will work. Fun fact: SFV:AE was intially supposed to be called SSFV, but they're probably saving the SSFV name for the next edition.

Streetfighter five is a mess and general you figure this one why have a arcade timeline or you can choose multiple timelines of the franchise when you have a collection and you can play through all the originals and experience the full timeline? This stupid shitty for stage or five stage arcade mode is a disgrace that little story mode bullshit is horrible I have never truly recovered streetfighter five and I hope if there is a part six they learn their lesson and they do some good single player and multiplayer content because this is just stupid. This game was geared toward Evo players A.k.a. competition more than just casual play along not everybody needs frames that everybody is there to go crazy in the training mode and not everybody has time to do it either. People that have played the game or passed iterations should be able to have an enjoyable time in the day one what they need and actually have some single player content if they don’t want to play multiplayer or if their work schedule does Not permit. This particular game forgot about everybody else they came out with a broken product that was and beta tried to sell it for $60. What hurts the game for me even more is the consistent server login that is mandatory every fucking time I turned the game off I do not play online all that much I do not want to login the servers I don’t give a shit about rank matches. But the fact that I have to consistently in every single time load into server or logging into the server is a pain in the ass to the point I almost don’t play at all. Should have an option to toggle that all make the game load quicker at the very least
