Why Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O (and 6) Matter

I hope they have a realistic animation for Juggling…instead of us hitting a person’s feet in midair.

i would like to see something more realistic but I feel like we are essentially trapped into thinking juggles are the expression of damage. imagine no juggles--- are mostly playing with crumple stun or stagger combos.

Same man, it’ll look super off with how realistic the game looks and the combat animations. Mk1 has this issue too, it looks super realistic but all the animations are awful so it just ends up looking super weird

VF1 & 2 were ported to PC in the mid 90s, so this makes VF5R.E.V.O to be the third official PC release but the first in a long time.

I had VF1 on PC. The only VF I ever played but it's super cool how familiar even VF5 Revo feels for me.

Yeah showing his age a little bit, he was only a little kid when Virtua Fighter 2 came out on the Saturn, so reckon he has to have been born around 1990, maybe a year or two earlier.

Vanilla VF 5 did have arcade quest mode as well. I played it when I had VF5.

I remember seeing virtua quest in a Nintendo Power, but I've never actually seen the game. Would 100% watch a video about that one.

Quest mode was in VF5 vanilla 2006 but it wasn't as good as VF4EVO's as it was missing a lot of side modes within the quest mode.

As long as the combo stay the same and no gimmicks, just more realistic environment arena with few new moves, stance, and passive for old characters and is good to go. I don't want another Tekken power up, long string combos, rage mode, and other casual gimmicks. I just want pure fluid arcade fighter and nothing else. The reason I refused to buy any newer Tekken is that it loss its charm of being a pure 3d arcade fighter
